We are seeking a highly driven Strategic Account Director to join our Sales team in Houston, TX. This role offers the opportunity to work with trading and risk professionals in one of the most dynamic sectors of the global economy. Performance Objectives
  • Build and deepen strategic relationships with trading and risk executives, positioning Enverus as a trusted partner for market intelligence and risk management.
  • Apply a consultative selling approach to deliver insights aligned with clients' hedging strategies, compliance mandates, and profitability goals.
  • Demonstrate expertise in aligning Enverus solutions to complex organizational objectives across trading desks, risk committees, and executive leadership.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and integrity.
  • Drive adoption of multiple product offerings in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Lead internal teams through the entire sales lifecycle, including tailored presentations, business case development, and ROI justification.
  • Maintain accurate and timely sales data in CRM systems, including pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Execute a disciplined approach to pipeline generation to ensure coverage of 3.5X quota.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as required.

Competitive Candidate Profile
  • 8-10+ years of experience selling SaaS solutions to trading and risk professionals.
  • Bachelor's degree desired, not required.
  • Recent experience selling enterprise SaaS-based solutions highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of commodity markets, trading workflows, and risk management practices.
  • Familiarity with ETRM/CTRM systems and risk analytics platforms.
  • Proven ability to influence decisions across trading desks, risk management teams, and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts such as VaR, credit exposure, and hedging strategies.
  • Strong negotiation, qualification, and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated with a natural drive to succeed and a track record of exceeding revenue objectives.
  • Strategic Selling training experience desired (e.g., Miller Heiman, Sandler, Challenger Method).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.

Salary Range: Base of $90,000- $100,000 annually, total On Target Earnings of $180,000 - $200,000 per year
