Overview

The Contract Manager defines and drives the contractual strategy to sustainably protect Expleo's interests while supporting its business priorities.Oversees the entire contract lifecycle, from strategic bids to execution and contractual changes, ensuring compliance, risk control, economic performance, and alignment with Group objectives.

The candidate secures complex deals, improves project performance and profitability, strengthens contractual discipline within Sales & Delivery teams, and contributes to the structuring of the Group's contractual and operational framework.

Acting as a true Business Partner, he/she builds trust with internal and external stakeholders and creates a robust, secure, and value-generating contractual environment: "Building trust through Contract Excellence."

Responsibilities
  • Contract Management Leadership
    • Lead the operational deployment of Contract Management in GERMANY and ensure a robust framework covering the entire lifecycle: Bid Contract Delivery Change.
    • Intervene on strategic bids based on defined criteria (value, risk, business stakes) and ensure contractual compliance throughout the process.
    • Oversee contractual performance during Delivery and ensure proper application of the contractual framework by operational teams.
  • Bid Phase (Pre-signature)
    • Contribute to bid preparation in close coordination with Sales, Delivery, Finance, and Legal teams.
    • Ensure coverage of minimum Contract Management requirements:
    • Clearly defined scope and assumptions,
    • Identified and assessed risks,
    • Robust pricing plan,
    • Defined change mechanisms,
    • Secured acceptance criteria and payment terms.
    • Verify margin calculation (Project Margin) and alignment with OBU/IBU references.
    • Ensure identification and re-approval of contractual deviations.
    • Participate in Bid Reviews for high-value or high-risk opportunities.
  • Contract Phase (Signature & Transition)
    • Ensure Contract Management requirements are correctly integrated into the final contract and reflect the parties' commitments.
    • Organize and lead a clear and complete Contract Delivery transition:
    • Conversion of contractual obligations into operational actions,
    • Allocation of responsibilities,
    • Definition and sharing of contractual governance.
  • Delivery Phase (Post-signature)
    • Ensure contract compliance by all internal and external stakeholders.
    • Oversee compliance with obligations, deliverables, acceptances, and KPIs.
    • Drive change management and decision gates to avoid unbilled work and secure economic performance.
    • Contribute to profitability improvement:
    • Margin protection,
    • Reduction of non-billable work,
    • Participate in Project Reviews (top accounts, critical projects).
    • Identify contractual opportunities, risks, and continuous improvement levers.
  • Change & Closure Phase
    • Lead and document contractual changes: amendments, claims, renewals, scope extensions.
