$1,000 Sign On Bonus! (excludes PRN Staff; Attendance and Performance considered)

Integrated Community Services  is now hiring Full-Time, Part-Time and PRN Caregiver staff positions in the Abilene area to work with Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities in a group home setting.

Integrated Community Services house and serve over 300 individuals with intellectual disabilities statewide in group homes, natural-residential settings, and in the foster care model from six regional satellite offices.

Personal care of individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting. The ideal candidate would have Caregiving, Direct Support and/ or Direct Care, C.N.A. or Home Health experience. To support our population of individuals one must be fun, clean, mature, dependable, organized, respectful, and patient in challenging situations.

On the job Training provided!

Shifts available:

  • Full Time:  Monday - Friday; Hours: 8AM - 4PM
  • Full Time:  Monday - Friday; Hours: 12AM - 8AM
  • Full Time - Weekend Rotator: Saturday (8AM) - Monday (8AM)
  • Part Time:  Saturday - Sunday; Hours: 8AM - 8PM 
  • PRN as needed.
  • Opportunity to get additional hours as you're willing.

**Inquire about Shift Differential Pay - for Specific Times at Specific Locations. **

Caregiver Duties include:

  • Assistance with Grooming and Toileting
  • Assistance with Meal Preparation and Mealtime Monitoring
  • Assistance with Medication Administration
  • House Cleaning (i.e., Sweeping, Mopping, Laundry etc.)
  • Driving company vehicles
  • Specialized Documentation
  • Supervision during recreational activities
  • Communication with outside family members and office staff.

  • Vacation (2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years)

Qualifications:

  • Valid and current Texas Driver's License
  • Clear Background Check
  • Clear DMV Check
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Proof of Education
  • No confirmation of Abuse/Neglect/Exploitation of an elderly or disabled person
  • No history of Medicaid fraud.
