Director, Client Partnerships (Sales)

Role Overview
The Global Director of Client Partnerships is a senior functional leader responsible for defining and driving the global strategy, structure, and performance of SIE Media Solutions Client Partnership (Sales) organization. This role leads a global team of managers and client partners, scaling the function to deliver sustained revenue growth, strategic partner value, and long-term business impact.
Operating at the intersection of sales and platform strategy, this leader moves beyond individual account ownership to shape portfolio-level direction, establish global frameworks, and influence enterprise-wide partnership and decision-making. The role requires the application of expertise in the PlayStation ecosystem, global advertising markets, and complex commercial partnerships, combined with strong organizational leadership and operational rigor.
What You'll be Doing:
Global Strategy & Portfolio Leadership
  • Define and drive the global Client Partnerships strategy, translating SIE Media Solution's priorities into scalable partner frameworks and multi-year growth plans
  • Develop and execute growth strategies that expand SIE Media Solutions' advertising business with non-endemic brands, with a focus on scaling demand across Programmatic, FAST/CTV, and emerging ad solutions
  • Oversee a portfolio of strategic partnerships, ensuring alignment to revenue growth, retention, and broader ecosystem objectives
  • Build strategic engagement frameworks with media holding companies and multinational advertisers to accelerate adoption of new commercial offerings and unlock incremental revenue streams
  • Identify market trends, client needs, and emerging opportunities to inform long-term commercial strategy and investment decisions

Organizational Leadership & Capability Building
  • Lead and develop a global organization of client partners
  • Establish team structures, operating models, and performance expectations to enable scale and consistency aligned with existing and new sales models and offerings
  • Build organizational capability through talent development, succession planning, and leadership coaching

Revenue Ownership & Business Performance
  • Own and deliver against global revenue targets and core business KPIs across the Client Partnerships function
  • Drive forecasting accuracy, pipeline health, and performance accountability through managers and team members
  • Oversee complex, high-impact partnership negotiations and ensure alignment to commercial and platform priorities
  • Drive revenue diversification through expansion of non-endemic advertising partnerships across categories such as CPG, retail, automotive, financial services, telecom, and entertainment
  • Lead commercialization efforts for new advertising products and go-to-market initiatives

Cross-Functional Leadership & Operational Excellence
  • Partner with senior leaders across Operations, Product, Marketing and other SIE Business lines to align strategies and unlock growth opportunities
  • Influence internal decision-making by representing partner needs, market insights, and commercial priorities
  • Establish and evolve global processes, frameworks, and metrics to drive execution, consistency, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking for:
  • 18+ years of experience in advertising sales or partnerships within gaming, media, or entertainment verticals
  • Proven experience and established relationships with senior level, decision makers at global media holding companies in the US that covers global brands
  • Proven track record of scaling advertising sales organizations during periods of platform and capability expansion, particularly across Programmatic, CTV/FAST, video, or data-driven advertising solutions
  • Demonstrated success owning large-scale revenue portfolios and complex strategic partnerships
  • Deep understanding of platform ecosystems, advertising/monetization models, and global markets
  • Experience leading high-performing sales organizations through transformational growth, including product expansion and evolving monetization strategies
  • Develop and execute growth strategies that expand SIE Media Solutions' advertising business with non-endemic brands, with a focus on scaling demand across Programmatic, FAST, and emerging ad solutions in the US and Canada markets

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

$224,800-$336,400 USD
