Data and AI Infrastructure (AIDI) builds and operates systems underpinning Meta's entire engineering organization. We're looking for a Business Operations Partner to support our AI Infrastructure and Data Infrastructure organizations.The Business Operations Partner will be the connective tissue that amplifies the voices of our leadership team and helps us operate efficiently, strategically and as a lean horizontal, highly cross-functional organization. A successful candidate will be highly organized, experienced in project management, and able to shift seamlessly between strategic counsel and smaller daily tasks. The ideal candidate will be a team-player with experience communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders through written and verbal formats (e.g., presentations, long-form posts, status updates) who is eager to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. They will be a detail-oriented, operationally-minded professional who can think strategically, adapt quickly, and build trust and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Business Operations Partner, AIDI Responsibilities:
  • Build and execute upon a review structure of high priority workstreams, ensuring a sensible cadence, coaching on pre-reads, tracking of action items, and dissemination of outcomes.
  • Build and execute upon a rhythm of the business that forecasts org-wide events and community plans to org leaders.
  • Draft internal communications on behalf of org leaders including long-form posts and live presentations.
  • Operate as the subject matter expert of headcount and operational expenses for the organization.
  • Lead its annual budget planning process.
  • Drive the closing of open headcount through partnership with the recruiting team and regular communication with hiring managers.
  • Drive strategic internal initiatives and ensure progress on priority work-streams, help build decision-making frameworks and deliverables.
  • In partnership with the admin team, lead the planning and execution of All-Hands and offsite events.
  • In partnership with HR, build and execute upon an onboarding structure that enables new hires to ramp efficiently and effectively.
  • In partnership with HR, build and execute upon a manager engagement strategy, ensuring it weaves together with the centrally managed programming.
  • Able to travel 10-20% of the time.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience with program management, project management, strategy, management consulting, or operations
  • 3+ years of experience working embedded within engineering teams translating technical reviews to program management of product strategy or equivalent experience
  • Quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with business acumen
  • Effective prose and clear presentation skills with a high level of craft
  • Experience problem-solving individually and in a group setting
  • Proven track-record of organizing, developing, and executing strategy projects that deliver results
  • Experience operating autonomously and in a highly organized fashion to track top organization priorities, identify efficiencies and drive alignment across teams
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional leadership to turn insights into actions
  • Experience with Microsoft and Google Suites, advanced skills in Excel
  • Experience navigating business structures while maintaining confidentiality and discretion

Preferred Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree in business, finance, engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Infrastructure experience in an engineering, financial, project management, or operational capacity
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
