Job description

What you get to do:
As the Food & Beverage Assistant Office Coordinator you'll provide the highest level of guest service and satisfaction. Your positive attitude and can-do spirit will make all the difference as you help guests create positive, lasting memories through great eating experiences. This position also:
  • Verify availability, review time off request, track and record training documents, and audit Team Members and training.
  • Assist with Team Member Training classes.
  • Conduct classroom education experiences focused on food safety, team member safety, guest service and general park knowledge
  • Update Team Hire/Team Manage weekly to ensure information is up to date.
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures when scheduling and working with Team Members.
  • Greet, receive and direct all visitors, team members and vendors via front desk, telephone and emails communications
  • Prepare, maintain and ensure proper documentation of workforce to include attendance and changes to employment status
  • Serve as assistant to office coordinator for documentation, scheduling and on-boarding process for workforce
  • Assist in preparing reports, correspondence in support of culinary leadership team
  • Report, document, schedule and follow up on all vendor related maintenance issues
  • Record and communicate employee health concerns to first aid and leadership to ensure compliance with VDH
  • Maintain office supply inventory and order materials as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned

What it takes to succeed:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Computer experience and Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication and intrapersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and ability to prioritize
  • One season Busch Gardens or Water Country USA experience preferred
  • Must have open availability including being able to work weekends, evenings, and some holidays
  • Successfully pass ServSafe exam prior to starting
  • Able to pass Alcohol training
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Able to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
  • Able stand and/or sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast paced environment
  • Able to work indoors and in outside weather conditions (i.e., sunny, wet and/or humid conditions)

Compensation: 15.75 USD
