A premier luxury hospitality property in the Western North Carolina mountains is seeking an experienced Director of Sales & Marketing to lead revenue growth, brand positioning, and guest engagement across multiple segments including leisure, corporate, and group business.


This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a high-touch, experience-driven environment and understands how to blend strategic vision with day-to-day execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with revenue goals and market positioning
  • Drive group, corporate, and leisure business through proactive outreach, relationship building, and targeted campaigns
  • Lead and mentor a sales and events team, including hiring, training, and performance management
  • Oversee brand standards, messaging, and guest-facing marketing across all channels
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns (digital, social, PR, and direct outreach)
  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, event planners, and industry partners
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, revenue management, and culinary teams to optimize guest experience and profitability
  • Analyze market trends, campaign performance, and sales data to inform strategy
  • Conduct site tours, client entertainment, and community engagement efforts
  • Ensure timely responses to inquiries, proposals, and booking opportunities

Leadership & Culture

  • Serve as Manager on Duty as needed and collaborate closely with all departments

  • Experience managing marketing campaigns, CRM initiatives, and brand strategy
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
