Director, Brand Strategy

This is a Hybrid Role: 3 days in office, 2 days out. You must be within 45 minutes of one of our offices located in Denver, Colorado or Salem, New Hampshire

The Opportunity

WOW! is seeking a visionary Director of Brand Strategy to define, protect, and evolve the strategic direction of our brand.

This leader will own WOW!'s brand positioning, messaging architecture, visual identity, creative standards, and brand investment strategy - ensuring we show up consistently, distinctively, and powerfully across every customer touchpoint.

You will translate business strategy into a compelling brand narrative that fuels subscriber growth, strengthens differentiation, and builds long-term brand equity in a competitive marketplace.

This is a high-impact role for a strategic storyteller who understands how brand and performance work together to drive measurable business results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to the following:

Brand Strategy & Positioning

  • Define and evolve WOW!'s brand positioning, value proposition, and messaging framework
  • Develop clear brand architecture across residential, business, and future growth segments
  • Translate corporate strategy into compelling brand narratives
  • Establish long-term brand equity goals and measurement frameworks

Brand Governance & Guidelines

  • Own andmaintainall brand guidelines, including visual identity, tone of voice, messaging hierarchy, and usage standards
  • Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external communications
  • Develop scalable brand toolkits for field marketing and local market activation
  • Act as brand steward across cross-functional teams

Creative Direction & Execution

  • Oversee creative strategy and execution across campaigns and always-on marketing
  • Partner with internal creative teams and external agencies to develop breakthrough campaigns
  • Ensure creative work aligns with brand strategy and performance objectives
  • Approve final creative across paid, owned, and earned channels

Production Oversight

  • Lead end-to-end production for video, audio, digital, print, direct mail, and broadcast assets
  • Manage production timelines, vendor relationships, and quality control
  • Balance speed-to-market with high creative standards
  • Drive cost-efficient production practices

Brand Budget & Resource Management

  • Own and manage brand investment budgets
  • Allocate spending across campaign development, production, research, and tools
  • Ensure disciplined financial stewardship

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Growth Marketing to ensure brand and performance strategies are aligned
  • Support Sales, Product, and Customer Experience teams with brand messaging
  • Align brand storytelling with market expansion initiatives
  • Contribute to executive-level brand reporting and planning

MinimumRequired Education and Experience

  • 10+ years of brand strategy, brand management, or integrated marketing leadership
  • Experiencein telecom, broadband, subscription, or consumer services preferred
  • Proventrack recordleading brand positioning and campaign development
  • Experiencemanaging creative agencies and production vendors
  • Strongstrategic thinking and storytelling skills
  • Deepunderstanding of how brand and performance marketing work together
  • Exceptionalcommunication and executive presentation skills
