Position: Senior Power BI Developer
Compensation: $133-$150k, depending on experience
Location: Remote
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Power BI Developer to join their team!
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on BI professional to step into a high-impact role and help shape enterprise reporting from the ground up. You'll own semantic models, build impactful dashboards, and support a growing analytics team with modern Power BI solutions. If you enjoy solving complex data challenges, partnering across teams, and building scalable reporting assets, this role offers plenty of room to make a visible difference.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Design and maintain enterprise semantic models using dimensional design.
  • Build advanced DAX measures, calculation groups, and time intelligence logic.
  • Create interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for business users.
  • Develop paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder and PBIRS.
  • Support source control and CI/CD for Power BI projects.
  • Improve performance through tuning, folding, and model optimization.
  • Implement RLS, OLS, sensitivity labels, and dataset governance.
  • Work with data engineering teams to shape and validate source data.
  • Document models, lineage, and reporting standards.
  • Mentor others and support broader BI best practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • 5-7 years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
  • 15+ years of overall BI and reporting experience.
  • Strong experience with enterprise semantic model design.
  • Deep knowledge of DAX and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
  • Skilled in Power Query and SQL for data preparation.
  • Experience with CI/CD and source-controlled BI development.
  • Understanding of row-level and object-level security.
