Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for lease approvals across the Office, Industrial and Residential portfolio and own the transition to running lease transactions directly with brokers and tenants as the role matures.
  • Proactively manage lease negotiations and deal structuring in partnership with the leasing team to implement the asset management business plan and ensure the financial success of each asset.
  • Own the development, maintenance, and ongoing accuracy of ARGUS and Excel valuation models, building from scratch and stress-testing assumptions against the business plan.
  • Proactively manage debt strategy in partnership with lenders, including originations, refinancing, and compliance, to ensure financing decisions support each asset's business plan.
  • Own the analysis of JV equity structures and waterfall mechanics, partnering with legal and capital markets teams on existing and prospective investments.
  • Responsible for assisting with the full-cycle disposition and recapitalization of assets, including due diligence and informational requests from brokers, equity partners, and prospective buyers.
  • Coordinate across construction, leasing, and accounting teams as the connective point for budgeting, reforecasting, and capital project execution.
  • Partner with the Managing Director of Asset Management on investor calls and approval requests, and on completing or facilitating tasks that arise from these communications.
  • Own tracking of portfolio return performance against underwriting to support investment strategy decisions.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required; candidates with a degree in math, real estate, business, finance, economics, a related field or additional significant relevant working experience in lieu of degree. Candidates with Masters degree are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • 7+ years of commercial real estate experience with direct office, industrial and/or residential experience demonstrated ownership of asset management, leasing, or acquisitions responsibilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in ARGUS, including the ability to build complex valuation models from scratch, alongside strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating directly with brokers and tenants, and structuring lease economics from initial terms through execution.
  • Working knowledge of debt structures and lender relationships, and familiarity with JV equity structures and waterfall mechanics.
  • Strong track record of coordinating construction, leasing, and accounting functions to drive asset-level business plans to completion.
  • Ability to work independently as a hands-on contributor in a fast-paced environment, with strong ownership instincts and follow-through.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to internal leadership and external investors.
