Hope Center Ministries is a growing nonprofit discipleship recovery program with multiple centers across the U.S. Hope Center Ministries exists to restore lives, restore families, and restore communities. We do this by helping those individuals bound by drug addiction and/or alcoholism find lasting freedom and sobriety through a relationship with Jesus Christ, which translates into seeing the lost saved, the saved freed, the freed restored, and the restored fulfilled.

Leadership Responsibilities


As the Apprentice Director of a Hope Center, you will be ridiculously in charge and fully responsible for insuring that the campus you areleading is healthy and growing. It is your job as an Apprentice to shadow the Director at all times and to achieve the sameresults.
You will learn how to lead and develop your staff so they, in turn, can lead their ministry leaders, who lead ministry captainsand volunteers
Work alongside the Director in the maintenance of a compelling vision and act as the key implementation champion for the
strategic plans at their local center
Participate in fulfilling the overall vision of Hope Center Ministries
Will create and/or participate in a leadership process that strategically develops key leaders, next level leaders and emergingleaders for the discipleship process
Will learn to train or arrange for the training of future Apprentices through the Leadership Institute, equip classes, mentoringand coaching
Devise ways in which residential ownership can be expanded
All Center Apprentices are required to meet monthly to be developed as a leader by our COO, CEO, Lead Pastor and Hope
Consultants.Staff Development Responsibilities
Attend a weekly staff meeting to invest in your leaders. This is for your own leadership development as well as addressing
other matters like work crews, admissions, fundraising, etc.
Learn how to collaborate with the CFO and COO to address financial issues pertaining to the Center
Learn how to give oversight to building management, ordering supplies, contracting for services or repairs, supervising the
work of staff members or volunteers and managing the campus budget
Learn to perform related duties as assigned by Director
Maintain compliance with all Hope Center policies and procedures.


Vocation Training


Learn how to develop new relationships with potential Vocation Training partners
Learn how to ensure VTP budgets are being met and are continually increasing
Learn how to strive to find healthier training environments on a continual basis
Learn to ensure proper training is being provided by VTP Partners
Learn to ensure adequate safety training is being provided by VTP Partners


Fundraising


Learn how to lead all of your Center's fund-raising events
Strive to improve each and every fundraiser
Be a model of interaction with the community and local churches
Be a spokesperson for Hope Center Ministries within the wider community
Evaluate the risk of resident harm. Our mission is to help people, causing harm to a resident, however unintentional,
undermines your purpose and jeopardizes our mission
Develop new and innovative recruitment techniques
Promotion of your Center through the following:
o Word of Mouth
o Church Speaking Engagements
o Distribution of Literature


Professional Development and Personal Growth Responsibilities


Devote time to spiritual, mental and physical development and well-being through personal discipline
Attend courses/workshops/conferences, as appropriate
Attend a Life Group as a participant and/or assume Life Group leadership
Learn to develop an annual plan/budget in cooperation with President/Founder, CFO, and Senior Director or his/her designee
Key Performance Indicators will be reviewed quarterly regarding adding leaders and volunteers to the team
Learn to set realistic goals through casting a vision, implementing strategies, establishing calendar dates and evaluating thefunds needed in order to achieve them
Will perform semiannual self-evaluations
A full performance evaluation will be completed semi-annually
