Our team is looking for a Finance Director to join them. You will report to the Finance Director (West Coast) and will have an onsite work structure in Miramar, FL.

To be considered for the Finance Director opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Certified Public Accountant with 5+ years' experience in a large multinational company
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing and/or engineering finance function is preferred
  • Able to demonstrate strong system capability and excellent Excel skills
  • Experience and able to demonstrate ability to write succinctly and to produce presentations
  • Experience managing and developing a team
  • Organizes and prioritizes to achieve results

As a Finance Director, you will:

  • Ensure that financial controls and processes are in place to meet statutory, legal and Group requirements.
  • Lead external and internal audits and ensure audit requirements are met.
  • Be responsible for the weekly/monthly and quarterly reporting requirements for ONTIC and CVC.
  • Complete month end review of the detailed financials including variance analysis and brief the management team of the status.
  • Be responsible for routine financial reporting and functions (incl: journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L statement, cash flows, month end management accounts, cash flow forecasting) to accurately report on current and projected company financial position.
  • Oversee credit management/control.
  • Support the purchase accounting process for new acquisitions and/or licenses in accordance with Ontic and Group policies (US GAAP).
  • Ensure that group insurance requirements are met.
  • Review/Approve capital expenditure requests for robust financial business cases.
  • Ensure that payroll preparation is timely and accurate.
  • Provide effective and accurate inventory analysis.
  • Review and update company policies and procedures to meet the changing needs of the business and ensure that controls are in place to reflect changes in business need and ensure the integrity and relevance of financial and business assets.
  • Lead integration of finance processes and procedures for all new product line integrations in Miramar.
  • Manage the annual budgeting and reforecasting process and perform monthly budget to actuals reviews with department managers.
  • Development of robust inventory controls across the business, including accurate cycle counting, Aged WIP and Defective material reporting
