BILINGUAL (English/Spanish) Receptionist- SOUTHWEST HOUSTON- 8021 Bissonnet St., Houston, TX 77074


SHIFT/HOURS: MONDAY - FRIDAY (9:30AM - 6:00PM)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrate Professionalism at all times.      
  • Maintain Patient Confidentiality.
  • Answer and direct telephone calls.
  • Proficient with customer service skills.
  • Greets patients, families, and vendors.
  • Checks in patients and notifies therapists of arrival in a timely manner.
  • Complete paperwork necessary for therapist performing admissions to new clients.     
  • Provide clients and others with accurate KDC information.
  • Ensure proper patient electronic medical records maintenance.
  • Track patient cancellation/no show rates weekly and complete documentation required to enforce policy (i.e. missed visit and no show letters).
  • Ensures timely rescheduling and confirmation of scheduled appointments as needed in a timely manner.
  • Contacting therapists to inform them of scheduling or changes in the schedule.
  • Assist office manager and patient case coordinators obtaining plans of care.
  • Maintains and ensures the organization and cleanliness of the waiting room.
  • Performs other tasks designated by the office manager.
