Direct Support Professional (DSP) - $18.40/hr Pro Care by Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Allegan, MI to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This is meaningful, hands-on work where you help someone build independence, confidence, and live a fuller life. If you're compassionate, reliable, and want a role that actually makes a difference, we'd love to connect. Available Shifts:
  • We are looking for full time or part time depending on client and staff availability. We will work with your schedule!
What You'll Do: As a DSP, you'll support individuals in their everyday routines while helping them grow and make their own choices:
  • Assist with daily routines like meals, hygiene, and household tasks
  • Encourage independence and decision-making
  • Support community involvement and positive social interactions
  • Monitor safety and teach safety awareness
  • Help individuals recognize triggers and build coping skills
  • Create a supportive, positive environment
  • Follow care plans and document services
