  • The Marketing Analyst supports profitable growth and commercial effectiveness through data-driven marketing analysis. This role involves developing and maintaining tools, systems, and processes to analyze data and inform pricing, strategy, and product/service decisions. Responsibilities also include customer and product trend analysis, data standardization and pricing/margin reviews.
    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing and sales activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of ongoing reports.
    • Conduct large quote pricing reviews using historical data to maximize revenue and margin.
    • Track sales/margin activity by customer, industry segment, and product lines to identify trends and recommend action.
    • Understand and analyze customer needs, objectives, and requirements to develop and recommend pricing strategies
    • Research and collect data on prices, competitors, and market conditions to support pricing decisions.
    • Create PowerPoint presentations to provide market and consumer insights to other marketing and sales departments.
    • Provide data-driven insights to justify action in proposed marketing initiatives
    • Collaborate with cross-function teams to implement marketing (and other) programs that improve the product/service offering.
    • Any other reasonable activity as directed by the Pricing and Marketing Analytics Manager.
  • QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, quantitative discipline, or business related field
    • 2+ years of marketing and/or sales experience
    • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving skills
    • Advanced Excel skills
    • Working knowledge with CRM programs
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
    • High-energy self-starter as well as collaborative team player
    • Proven ability to effectively communicate cross functionally and vertically within company
