Freedom, a national Direct Mail Company based in Aurora, IL, is one of the largest, independently owned, privately held, direct mail marketing providers in the United States. Why Freedom? Because we are a leader in the direct mail space, investing in technology and resources to facilitate innovative ideas, driving true client delight. We're looking to add Bindery Operators to our 1st shift team.
Operators should have to the ability to read and interpret written work, possess knowledge of operating procedures for bindery equipment and have an attention to detail.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate all bindery equipment in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Perform general and preventative maintenance on all bindery equipment.
  • Monitor and assess quality throughout all phases of production.
  • Maintain a consistently high level of production.
  • Undertake additional tasks as seen appropriate by management.
  • Maintains a clean working environment.

Qualifications:
  • Able to read and comprehend job tickets and customer specifications.
  • Able to communicate effectively with other employees.
  • Able to communicate effectively with other employees.
  • Able to solve practical problems.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Quality Oriented.
  • Team player- stays to get the job done.
  • Willing to be cross trained in the work of other departments/equipment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and is constantly standing or walking in a fast paced environment.
