General Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Care Staff to support individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential care setting. In this role, you will provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and individualized programming to help clients achieve greater independence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with personal care, grooming, and daily routines
  • Prepare meals and support dietary needs
  • Administer medications as scheduled
  • Support individual service plan goals and facilitate leisure activities
  • Ensure safety and supervision of clients at all times
  • Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and facility upkeep
  • Document care provided and report any changes in condition

Schedule:
Not all shifts are available at all times. Applicants should indicate their availability on the application. We will contact you when a shift matches your availability.
  • AM Shift: Weekdays 5:30am-10:00am; Weekends 7:00am-3:00pm or 8:00am-4:00pm
  • PM Shift: Weekdays 1:00pm-9:00pm and/or 3:30pm-12:00am; Weekends 3:00pm-9:00pm and/or 4:00pm-12:00am
  • NOC Shift: 12:00am-8:00am

Scheduling Expectations:
  • All DCS team members are expected to work both Saturday and Sunday to meet operational and client care needs.
  • Schedules are generally all AM, all PM, or all NOC, except for a specific rotation that includes three AM shifts (Fri-Sun) and two weekday NOC shifts.
  • In most circumstances, we are unable to accommodate split schedules such as weekday AM and weekend PM, as each individual's schedule affects the overall staffing of the home.

Requirements
To qualify for employment at JonBec Care, Inc. you must meet the following requirements:
  • At least 18 years old
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, medical exam, and TB test
  • Reliable and dependable attendance is essential; consistent presence is critical to meet the needs of clients and the operation of our residential programs
  • Compassionate and able to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills with sound judgment and decision-making
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and cover additional shifts as needed
  • Motivated to learn and adaptable to changing client and operational needs
  • Basic computer skills for documenting in the Electronic Health Record (training provided)
