Position Summary


LS Energy Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to drive growth and strengthen customer relationships across the utility-scale and commercial energy storage markets. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing strategic accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and serving as the primary customer advocate throughout the sales and project lifecycle.


This role will work closely with utilities, renewable energy developers, EPC contractors, independent power producers (IPPs), and commercial customers seeking advanced Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions. The successful candidate will leverage LS Energy Solutions' industry-leading energy storage expertise, integrated solutions portfolio, and proven track record of more than 300 deployed projects globally to deliver innovative and reliable energy storage solutions.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic Account Management

• Develop and execute account strategies to grow revenue within assigned territories and customer segments.

• Build executive-level relationships with utilities, renewable developers, EPCs, IPPs, and strategic partners.

• Serve as the primary commercial contact for assigned customers.

• Lead regular business reviews and cultivate long-term partnerships.

• Maintain high customer satisfaction and retention levels.


Business Development

• Identify and qualify new utility-scale and commercial energy storage opportunities

• Expand LS Energy Solutions' presence within target accounts and emerging market segments.

• Develop relationships with project developers, engineering firms, consultants, and industry stakeholders

• Represent LS Energy Solutions at conferences, trade shows, and customer events


Energy Storage Solution Sales

• Promote LS Energy Solutions' integrated BESS solutions, power conversion systems, controls, and related services.

• Collaborate with engineering, project execution, and product teams to develop customer specific solutions.

• Support applications including:

  • Renewable integration
  • Capacity support
  • Peak demand management
  • Grid stabilization
  • Ancillary services
  • Microgrids

• Present technical and commercial proposals to customer stakeholders.


Commercial Management

• Assist with proposal development, bid responses, and customer negotiations.

• Manage contract discussions, pricing strategies, and commercial risk assessments.

• Maintain opportunity pipelines and forecast accuracy through Salesforce or other CRM tools.

• Coordinate seamless project handoff to execution and operations teams


Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related discipline.

• 5+ years of account management, technical sales, or business development experience.

• 3+ years within the energy, renewable energy, utility, power systems, or energy storage industries.

• Demonstrated success selling complex technical solutions with long sales cycles.

• Experience working with utilities, renewable energy developers, EPCs, or energy infrastructure customers.

• Strong understanding of energy markets and project development processes.

• Proven ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.


Preferred Qualifications

• Native/fluent proficiency in both Korean and English

• Direct experience selling Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

• Knowledge of utility-scale storage applications and project finance fundamentals.

• Familiarity with power conversion systems, EMS platforms, and integrated storage solutions.

• Experience responding to utility RFPs and large infrastructure procurements.

• Existing relationships within the utility, renewable energy, or energy storage sectors.
