We are excited to announce an opening for a Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Dignity Health Therapy Solutions in beautiful Berkeley, California. Work Environment

This position requires the Physical Therapist to work onsite, predominantly in a home care setting, where you will deliver therapy services directly in the patients' homes. Our working hours are structured from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to evaluate their physical conditions and needs, utilizing advanced evaluation techniques.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that encompass a range of evidence-based interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and additional modalities tailored to individual recovery goals.
  • Implement treatment strategies that effectively address orthopedic conditions, enabling patients to regain optimal mobility and strength.
  • Educate patients about injury prevention, body mechanics, and ergonomics, empowering them with the understanding and tools necessary for self-management and long-term health maintenance.
  • Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and documenting all interactions and outcomes accurately in our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare providers, including referring physicians and surgeons, to ensure seamless, comprehensive care for all patients.
  • Engage in clinical team meetings, case discussions, and continued professional education to stay current with best practices in orthopedic therapy.
  • Provide mentorship and supervision to Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and student interns, helping to cultivate the next generation of therapy professionals.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Dignity Health Therapy Solutions, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population in a home care context. Qualifications
