The Director of Digital Acquisition owns what comes next: leading the full digital acquisition portfolio — paid social, paid search, affiliate, YouTube, mobile and app networks, and emerging channels — while building the capabilities that define Chime's next chapter of growth. This is a leadership role, not a channel-management role. The foundation — building great teams, running healthy channels, and consistently delivering results — doesn't change. What changes is the mandate: this leader is accountable for delivering today's business while identifying and building tomorrow's growth engine, staying close enough to the ecosystem of platforms, agencies, and technology partners to bring new capabilities into Chime before they become table stakes. This role sits within Chime's newly evolved Media & Acquisition organization, alongside a Director of Media leading Offline, Media Planning, and MMM. Together, these two roles are being broadened in scope as Chime moves from a channel-by-channel model toward a more complete, portfolio-level view of how every marketing dollar creates value. The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $196,000.00 and up to $270,000.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience. In this role, you can expect to Own performance across Chime's full digital acquisition portfolio (paid social, paid search, affiliate, YouTube, mobile/app networks, and emerging channels), delivering ambitious growth, efficiency, and CAC targets. Make portfolio-level investment and prioritization calls across channels, talent, technology, and vendor partnerships, balancing near-term performance against long-term capability building. Lead and develop a team of experienced channel managers as a true player-coach — close enough to the work to challenge assumptions and unblock hard problems, but focused on multiplying impact through people and systems. Build new acquisition channels, partnerships, or technology-enabled growth motions — not just optimize the existing mix. Stay plugged into the external digital ecosystem — platforms, agencies, AI/martech vendors, startups — to identify opportunities before they're obvious and bring new capability into Chime early. Push the organization to rebuild how it works around AI: experimentation, creative production, media buying, and measurement — not just point-solution automation. Partner cross-functionally with Media Planning/MMM, Growth Product Marketing, Analytics, Risk, and Finance to align channel strategy to company-level growth and CAC goals. Represent Digital Acquisition in senior leadership forums, translating channel performance into business outcomes for Growth LT, EC, and Board-level audiences. To thrive in this role, you have Experience leading a multi-channel digital acquisition or growth organization with meaningful business accountability — not only channel-level metrics. A demonstrated record of owning growth, efficiency, and business outcomes. Experience managing a significant media portfolio and making prioritization tradeoffs across channels, technology, and vendors. A leadership style that blends strategic range with hands-on credibility — comfortable operating as both strategist and player-coach. Experience building or scaling teams and developing future leaders. Comfort operating in a fast-moving, cross-functional, senior-executive-visible environment. #LI-Onsite #LI-AM1 A little about us At Chime, we believe that everyone can achieve financial progress.
