Digital Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Bring Falls Creek to life online through creative content, campaigns and communications that inspire visitors year-round.


The Opportunity: The Digital Marketing & Communications Coordinator coordinates digital marketing, content and stakeholder communications for Falls Creek, supporting the delivery of timely, accurate and engaging information that enhances the visitor experience and promotes the resort across winter and summer seasons. This role works closely with the Head of Visitor Experience, Group Marketing Manager, Events and Visitor Experience teams, media partners and local stakeholders to plan and deliver campaigns, manage digital channels, coordinate operational updates and contribute to continuous improvement in the way Falls Creek communicates with visitors, partners and the community. If you are a proactive and organised communications professional with strong digital content skills, sound stakeholder management and a passion for promoting exceptional alpine experiences, we would love to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate digital marketing and stakeholder communication activities across paid and organic channels, ensuring messaging is timely, accurate and aligned with ARV and Falls Creek priorities.
  • Manage day-to-day digital content, including website updates, social media content, email communications and digital collateral.
  • Coordinate seasonal campaign activity, including winter and summer media plans, content calendars, campaign scheduling and delivery milestones.
  • Draft and coordinate public-facing communications, visitor updates, stakeholder information and operational notices in consultation with relevant teams.
  • Maintain campaign plans, content schedules and reporting information to support monitoring of outcomes and informed decision making.
  • Collaborate with marketing, events, visitor experience and resort operations teams to ensure activity is integrated and operationally aligned.
  • Liaise with media, news providers, commercial partners, tourism stakeholders and local businesses to support campaigns and showcase Falls Creek's events, experiences and visitor offerings.
  • Monitor approved marketing and media budgets, purchasing requirements and supplier activity to support campaign delivery within agreed scope, timelines and budget.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:


  • Minimum 3-5 years' relevant experience in a marketing, communications, digital content, visitor experience or comparable role.
  • Experience coordinating digital campaigns, stakeholder communications and visitor-focused content across multiple channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects from planning through to delivery, including monitoring timelines, budgets and stakeholder inputs.
  • Strong digital and technological literacy, including experience using digital channels, website platforms, Microsoft Office, Teams, Planner and design tools such as Canva.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, public relations, tourism, events or a related field, or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience.

Salary Band: $79,122 - $87,600 + superannuation


Employment Type: Full-time, ongoing

Requirements for the Successful Candidate:


  • Full Australian working rights
  • Current Victorian driver's licence
  • Victorian Employee Working with Children Check
  • National Criminal History Check and reference checks
  • Ability to support communications across seasonal peaks, campaign deadlines and changing resort operating conditions as required
