Job description

The ideal candidate brings strong visual storytelling skills, a sharp eye for value-driven retail messaging, and hands-on experience managing websites. This position works closely with the Marketing team and partners with Merchandising, Stores, and Operations to support campaigns, promotions, and key initiatives across both brands.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design
• Develop and execute creative concepts from initial idea through final production, aligned with Roses and Big Lots brand standards
• Design bold, value-driven assets for print and digital, including emails, circulars, social media, in-store signage, product packaging, and promotional materials
• Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across both divisions
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support campaigns, events, and seasonal initiatives
• Prepare production-ready files for print and digital distribution
• Coordinate signage and promotional materials for stores, working with internal teams and external vendors
Web & Digital Management
• Manage and update website content for both Roses and Big Lots to support promotions, campaigns, and product storytelling
• Build and maintain landing pages for key events and marketing initiatives
• Ensure site usability, speed, and mobile responsiveness
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with external partners as needed
• Support SEO best practices to drive traffic and engagement
• Track and report on website performance, providing insights to improve customer experience
Additional Responsibilities
• Support Marketing, Merchandising, and Store Operations teams across both divisions with design and digital needs.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• 2-3 years of experience in graphic design, web management, or a related role
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Experience with content management systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
Preferred Skills
• Experience in retail or value-driven brands
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms
• Understanding of SEO and analytics tools
• Knowledge of UX/UI best practices
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
