Description

The Head of Marketing at TAB Bank is a results‑oriented, mission‑driven leader that is accountable for the strategic direction, execution, and performance of all marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, increase customer acquisition, and improve revenue growth. This senior leader will manage and develop a high‑performing marketing team, ensuring alignment with the bank’s overall mission, goals, and growth strategies. The role includes responsibility for effective deployment of the marketing budget, production of engaging marketing assets, and measurable growth in deposit accounts and loan originations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support TAB Bank’s growth objectives, with priority focus on consumer deposit products (TAB Spend/Save), partnership/sponsorship banking, and working capital (asset‑based lending) solutions.
  • Attract, develop, and retain high‑performing marketing talent while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Proven success deploying multi‑million‑dollar marketing budgets and demonstrating measurable return on investment.
  • Establish marketing performance metrics and accountability frameworks tied to customer acquisition, deposit growth, loan pipeline generation, revenue contribution, and return on marketing investment.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, deposits, and executive teams to ensure cohesive messaging and strategic alignment.
  • Listen, analyze and act upon internal and external data to inform decisions regarding marketing campaign performance, acquisition channel optimization and marketing team output.
  • Enhance and evolve TAB Bank's brand strategy, ensuring consistent positioning across all customer and partner touchpoints.
  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives including SEO/SEM, paid media (e.g., digital, billboard, radio, podcast, newsletter and/or TV), email marketing, and website optimization.
  • Develop and execute proactive and reactive communications strategies to protect and enhance TAB Bank’s brand reputation in the event of media challenges, crises, or misinformation.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies to keep the bank’s marketing efforts innovative and competitive.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
  • Demonstrated success leading marketing efforts for consumer deposit products or commercial loans or similar products within a bank, fintech, neobank, or other regulated financial services company.
  • Ability to manage customer acquisition economics, including CAC, LTV, retention, and marketing attribution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing roles with at least 3 years in a senior leadership position.
  • Proven experience leading and scaling high‑performing marketing teams.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing multi‑channel marketing strategies.
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Master’s degree (MBA or similar) preferred.
  • Hands‑on knowledge of marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ownership mentality and ability to operate independently.
  • Experience balancing brand‑building and performance marketing investments.
