What are some common challenges faced by Digital Rights Managers in managing content across multiple platforms?

Digital Rights Managers often encounter challenges in ensuring that digital content is properly licensed and protected across a variety of distribution platforms. Additionally, the rapid pace of technological change means that Digital Rights Managers must be adept at using digital asset management systems and responding quickly to new content delivery models. Strong attention to detail and proactive communication are key to navigating these complexities.

What are digital rights managers?

They ensure that intellectual property rights are maintained and that creators or companies receive proper compensation for the use of their content. Job description

The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager to lead product development, strategy, and operations for our Adobe Content Platform solutions.

We empower Adobe workers to centralize, safeguard and share their valuable content with other teams and agencies. This accelerates work as digital content and AI capabilities are growing rapidly. Fragmented, underutilized content can cost Adobe significant time and money.

Our experiences are powered solely by Adobe software, so you and your customers act as Customer Zero. You will work with various Adobe product teams to provide input and improve our Adobe products.

What you'll do
  • Lead the Product vision for next-generation capabilities for Adobe's Enterprise Content platform. Components include AEM Assets, Experience Manager Content Hub (aka Adobe Marketing Hub), Frame.io, and AEM Sites.
  • Incorporate rapidly developing new technologies, including AI-generated content, AI metadata, and Agentic capabilities, while keeping the human at the center of the experience.
  • Partner with product & engineering as they develop new product features. Enable Customer Zero pre-release testing and feedback.
  • Prioritize capabilities that bring the greatest value to the business. Communicate effectively with internal customers and collaborators about the roadmap, timing, and reasoning.
  • Identify problems worth solving for our customers.
  • Develop success criteria, including essential metrics that assess customer success and business impact.
  • Build experiences that meet all relevant compliance, digital rights management, privacy, legal, AI Ethics, and security standards.
  • Collaborate with partners as needed to convey these requirements, including your colleagues in reliability engineering.
Required Skills
  • Proven history of developing Digital Asset Management solutions or Content Platforms that gained widespread adoption among extensive customer groups at the enterprise level.
  • Product management leadership experience of 7+ years, including working with highly diverse and global teams.
  • Experience with Adobe's relevant products we use for our platform.
  • Understand how Content managers, Content operations, and Digital Librarians think, what drives them. You may not be a Librarian but you speak Librarian - metadata debates and taxonomy discussions are your happy place.
  • Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead in an environment of diverse partners and role ambiguity, and independently drive and coordinate initiatives end-to-end.
  • Persuasive while able to listen and incorporate the perspectives of others.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
