Job description

AdvanSix is on an exciting digital transformation journey to become a more connected, data-driven manufacturer. We are investing in a strong team of digital leaders who can translate strategy into execution, accelerate our digital roadmap, and help shape how technology, data, and modern ways of working transform our operations. This is a high-impact opportunity to join a growing Digital Transformation & Technology team, lead business-critical initiatives, and make a visible contribution to the company’s future.

The Digital Project Manager plans and delivers complex SAP and enterprise application initiatives. Working across business, DTT, vendor, and implementation partner teams, this role applies disciplined execution, governance, stakeholder alignment, and risk management from initiation through go-live, hypercare, and stabilization. The ideal candidate brings proven project management fundamentals, practical SAP and enterprise application implementation experience, and the ability to move teams from planning to execution with structure and transparency.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Execution

  • Execute technology projects using the enterprise Project Management Methodology (PMM), ensuring consistent application of delivery standards, governance checkpoints, and required artifacts.

  • Translate approved business demand into executable project plans, milestones, integrated schedules, and delivery roadmaps.

  • Manage delivery controls—including scope, schedule, budget, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and quality—to achieve agreed outcomes.

  • Lead SAP and enterprise application implementations and transformations, including requirements coordination, testing, cutover, deployment, hypercare, and stabilization.

  • Coordinate business, DTT, vendor, and implementation partner teams through an integrated, end-to-end delivery approach.

  • Maintain delivery visibility through governance reporting, risk escalation, and decision tracking.

  • Integrate stakeholder engagement, communications, training, business readiness, and adoption-risk management into the project plan in partnership with accountable business and change owners.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Build productive relationships with business stakeholders, DTT teams, SAP resources, vendors, and delivery partners.

  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment, remove barriers, and support timely decisions.

  • Provide clear project communications, including status reports, risk and issue escalations, decision support, and executive-ready updates.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing and delivering complex IT, digital, or enterprise application projects.

  • Demonstrated experience managing SAP-related implementation, enhancement, integration, migration, upgrade, or transformation projects.

  • Demonstrated command of project controls, risk management, governance, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across business, IT/DTT, SAP, and external delivery partners.

  • Experience coordinating business readiness and change enablement activities.

  • Effective communication, facilitation, negotiation, escalation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering SAP or enterprise application projects in a manufacturing environment.

  • PMP or related project management certification.

The expected salary range for this position is $140,000 to $190,000 annually.
