Director of Digital Marketing
Department: Marketing
Direct Supervisor: VP, Ecommerce & Digital Product
Status: Full-time
Summary:
The Director of Digital Marketing will lead a team responsible for optimizing and executing digital marketing initiatives across email, SMS, app push notifications, and web/app platforms. This role focuses on enhancing digital engagement, driving traffic, and increasing revenue through data-driven strategies and personalized communication for all lines of business (Miami Dolphins, Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, Miami Open and Hard Rock Stadium). Reporting directly to the Vice President of eCommerce and Digital Product, the Director will own key digital channels, including email marketing, performance marketing, and SMS Push notifications, while also collaborating on content creation for new website pages. This is a full-time, in-office position, requiring attendance five days a week at Hard Rock Stadium.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with expertise in multi-channel digital marketing, audience segmentation, and performance analysis, with a proven ability to lead teams and deliver measurable results.

This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.
Responsibilities:
  • Channel Optimization
    • Develop and execute strategies to optimize email, SMS, and push notifications, delivering personalized and impactful messages that engage fans and maximize conversions.
    • Support customer database growth through digital lead capture initiatives across paid media, website experiences, events, and on-site activations, with a strong focus on CRM data quality and scalability.
    • Develop and operationalize segmentation, audience, and communication frameworks to enable more personalized, relevant, and high-performing lifecycle and paid media messaging.
    • Oversee the development and implementation of multi-channel campaigns, ensuring alignment across web and in app experiences.
    • Identify new opportunities for partnerships and traffic growth.

  • Performance Monitoring & Growth
    • Monitor and analyze digital channel performance including open rates, click-through rates, traffic, conversions, and customer acquisition costs, to inform strategic adjustments.
    • Develop and maintain performance reporting for campaign analysis and internal reviews.
    • Analyze performance across paid media and lifecycle channels, including engagement, conversion, revenue, and database growth metrics, and translate findings into clear, prioritized recommendations.
    • Prepare executive-level presentations, dashboards, and post-campaign readouts that connect channel performance to business outcomes such as ticket sales, revenue, and fan engagement.
    • Explore emerging communication channels and technologies to expand digital engagement capabilities.

  • Digital Campaigns & Innovation
    • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop integrated campaigns that drive ticket sales, fan engagement, and revenue growth.
    • Lead A/B testing and other experimentation methods to refine digital messaging and optimize campaign performance.
    • Drive innovative solutions for multi-channel communication, staying ahead of market trends and fan preferences.

  • SEM Strategy
    • Partner closely with paid media teams and external agencies to align acquisition strategies with downstream lifecycle programs and database growth objectives.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize paid campaign performance.

  • Leadership & Team Management
    • Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
    • Provide strategic direction and coaching to the team to meet organizational goals and deliver measurable results.
    • Proactively identify opportunities to improve marketing technology, automation, processes, and workflows to drive efficiency, scalability, and incremental business growth.
    • Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the team works effectively across all digital engagement channels.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record in optimizing multi-channel strategies, email marketing, and campaign performance.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading and managing teams, with demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and deliver results through others.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot is required, with hands-on experience in campaign management, automation, and analytics.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with expertise in leveraging data to refine strategies and demonstrate measurable results.
