Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Digital Print Machine Operator to join our busy and ever growing online digital printing company. At the center of our lively and fast-paced production team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all print is finished to the highest standards prior to dispatch.
The role requires previous experience in operating a Kodak Nexpress SX 3900. You must be a highly self-motivated individual who takes a flexible approach to managing workloads and demands and ensures detailed attention is paid to all work. Enthusiasm and a high level of focus are essential. The work will be fast paced and we require the successful candidate to rise to this challenge.
Qualifications
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Running the award winning Kodak Nexpress SX 3900 on a daily basis.
• Ripping files produced from static and variable data files using digital print equipment.
• Excellent color vision and understanding for digitally manipulating color calibration set-up to meet expectations for color targets.
• Reviewing all proofs and final product samples produced on digital equipment before releasing to internal or external customers.
• Conducting regular and special maintenance on equipment to achieve maximum machine performance.
• Recording maintenance and service calls in maintenance logbook as required.
• Inventorying and order spare parts.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
• Experience in running the Kodak Nexpress SX 3900 and a user certification will be a plus.
• Experience working in a formal Quality or ISO environment is considered an asset.
• Must demonstrate flexibility in being able to operate different equipment and undertake
• Willingness to learn new processes and methods of working
• Energetic & Enthusiastic approach
• A recent and stable work history is required
