Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Account Executive with 4+ years of experience to lead aspects of client accounts – owning media strategy and execution, mentoring junior team members and collaborating closely with account leads. You’ll work with a growing roster of clean energy and energy transition clients across sectors like solar, storage, climate tech, and grid modernization—helping them build brand credibility, secure earned media wins, and influence key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in the clean energy landscape, have a knack for building relationships, and a proven track record fostering teamwork to deliver high-impact PR results.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate and assist in program brainstorming, development, and planning
  • Manage the workflow of client deliverables, ensure quality delivery and that deadlines are met
  • Manage multiple projects for clients from concept to completion by troubleshooting problems, proposing solutions, offering client counsel
  • Plan, schedule, implement and lead activity required to execute client programs such as media programs, campaigns, launches, special events
  • Actively participates and leads sections on the client calls; builds relationships with clients through regular collaboration and contact
  • Provide increasingly complex client counsel; advise client of appropriate action using research, tools, knowledge of industry
  • May manage account or business unit with minimal supervision

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of public relations experience, ideally in clean energy, tech, or sustainability sectors Prior agency experience required
  • Experience in the energy transition preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with digital PR tools and analytics platforms
  • A team player with a collaborative spirit and leadership qualities
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field

The compensation range for this position is $70-85,000 annually, annually, commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications. Exceptionally qualified candidates may be considered outside of this range and/or at a more senior level where appropriate.
