Position Overview:

The Operational Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing complex operational projects that span multiple departments. This role serves as the bridge between strategy and execution—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals. You’ll work directly with department heads and executive leadership to prioritize and manage critical operational initiatives, helping scale our infrastructure as we grow.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full lifecycle of operational projects, from planning through execution and post-implementation review.
  • Define project scopes, timelines, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and ensure alignment among marketing, product, finance, and executive teams.
  • Facilitate weekly project status meetings and executive updates.
  • Create and implement project tracking tools, dashboards, and reporting systems.
  • Identify bottlenecks and proactively propose solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Lead initiatives to improve organizational structure, resource planning, and role clarity.
  • Develop and refine SOPs, workflows, and communication protocols across departments.
  • Apply Six Sigma, Agile, or PMP methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Mentor internal teams on project best practices and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.


Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in operations, project management, or a related leadership role.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, Six Sigma, Agile) strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience leading operational or enterprise-level projects.
  • Strong background in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent multitasking skills—ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across departments.
  • Experience developing and implementing project charters, Gantt charts, timelines, and risk assessments.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish roles and responsibilities for new or evolving teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including executive-level reporting and presentations.
  • Experience working with companies in high-growth or scaling environments.
