Reports to: Director of Digital Marketing

Come grow with us!

Working at ViewSonic is a unique opportunity to do rewarding, meaningful, high-visibility work for a global leader in visual technology. At ViewSonic, we are celebrating nearly four decades of excellence, carrying on the same entrepreneurial spirit and innovation we’ve had since 1987. Our brand and products are well-known throughout the industry. As a result, we are growing quickly and are looking for energetic, motivated team members to expand our nest.
As ViewSonic expands centralized social media leadership globally, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Social Media Manager to help shape the future of our social presence, audience engagement, and integrated digital marketing initiatives.

Your Role and Impact

The Social Media Manager will serve as the strategic and operational lead for ViewSonic’s global social media presence and channel performance — translating brand campaigns, vertical marketing initiatives, and product priorities into platform-native social execution, while owning the fast-moving, trend-driven, social-first work that lives uniquely on these channels. This role will be responsible for developing and executing social-first marketing initiatives, managing editorial planning and publishing governance, identifying proactive campaign opportunities, and helping elevate overall social engagement, audience growth, and campaign visibility.

This role will help align social media initiatives with broader digital marketing, demand generation, awareness, and audience engagement objectives. In addition, it will support global/regional social media teams by helping to guide their strategies and ensure consistency with the company’s values, brand voice, and overall social direction.

This individual will work cross-functionally with Vertical Marketing Managers, Product Managers, Digital Marketing, Creative Services, and executive stakeholders to translate business priorities into compelling platform-native social campaigns and content strategies.

The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist, collaborator, and executor — someone who understands both the creative and analytical side of modern social media and can proactively bring ideas forward while helping establish scalable processes, optimization strategies, and operational best practices.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the global social channel strategy and social-first programs that bring ViewSonic’s brand narrative, integrated campaigns, and vertical marketing initiatives to life across platforms
  • Own ViewSonic’s social-first and real-time engagement work — cultural moments, platform trends, community-driven content, partnerships, and creator/influencer opportunities — moving at the speed social platforms require
  • Translate broader marketing initiatives into platform-native social execution plans and amplification strategies
  • Manage and oversee the centralized social media calendar, publishing workflows, and content prioritization process
  • Partner with the Brand & Integrated Campaign Manager and Vertical Marketing Managers to receive campaign briefs and translate them into social-native activations; own the social planning rhythm, creative handoffs, and platform execution within each campaign
  • Partner with Digital Marketing team members to align social strategies with paid media, web, email, SEO/GEO, and integrated campaign initiatives
  • Ensure social media messaging aligns with overall marketing direction while optimizing for platform-native engagement and audience behavior
  • Monitor social media performance, audience engagement trends, and campaign effectiveness to provide actionable recommendations and optimizations
  • Leverage platform analytics and performance data to continuously optimize content strategy, audience engagement, and campaign effectiveness
  • Prepare performance recaps, strategic insights, social trend updates, and recommendations for leadership visibility and internal communications
  • Stay informed on evolving social platform trends, algorithm changes, emerging formats, and best practices
  • Support and help guide junior social media team members by improving workflows, operational consistency, and execution quality
  • Coordinate with creative and production teams to develop social-native creative — short-form video, platform originals, and adaptations from brand and campaign hero assets
  • Continuously test and optimize social strategies, content formats, messaging approaches, and audience engagement tactics to improve performance over time

Your Profile

  • BA in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Integrated Campaign Strategy
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, Reddit, TikTok, and emerging channels
  • Proven experience developing and executing strategic social media campaigns
  • Experience managing editorial calendars, publishing governance, and multi-stakeholder workflows
  •  Experience managing a team and/or coaching and mentoring employees into expanded responsibilities or new roles
  • Experience managing and allocating marketing, social media, content, or campaign budgets of at least $50,000, including planning spend, tracking performance, and optimizing ROI against business objectives
  • Strong understanding of audience engagement strategies, platform analytics, and performance optimization
  • Experience interpreting channel performance metrics and engagement analytics to drive decision-making
  • Understanding of integrated digital marketing ecosystems and cross-channel campaign coordination
  • Familiarity with paid social amplification, audience targeting strategies, and integrated digital campaigns
  • Ability to proactively identify opportunities and develop social-first campaign ideas
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Experience presenting performance insights and strategic recommendations to leadership
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and execution quality
  • Experience working in B2B technology, enterprise, education, gaming, consumer electronics, or related industries is a plus
  • Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Gemini, Claude) to enhance productivity and streamline workflows

What’s in it for you:

  • Medical, Dental and Vision insurance options
  • 401k with company match
  • Paid Time Off
  • Company provided equipment

Work Environment & Requirements

  • Office Presence: Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days local offsite
  • Environment: Normal office conditions.
  • Physical Effort: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Hazards: Negligible, little or no exposure to hazards
