Onda acts as a "one-stop-shop" for e-commerce brands seeking assistance with their digital marketing labor and execution needs by providing premium talent. Joining our talent network offers you connections to the ultimate "freelance" gigs with our clients, but coupled with a variety of support departments (scheduling, billing, client resolution, etc) to help you focus on what you do best.
As a Senior Paid Media Strategist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing paid media strategies that drive high-quality traffic and conversions for our DTC ecommerce clients. You will leverage your expertise in various paid media channels to create and execute data-driven campaigns that align with our clients' business objectives. Your role will involve strategic planning, performance analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of our clients' digital marketing initiatives. You'll also provide strategy, guidance and oversight to the junior ad buyers within the Onda Team that are assigned to any given client account that you are associated with.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive paid media strategies for DTC ecommerce brands across multiple platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook/Meta Ads, Instagram Ads, TikTok Ads, etc.).
  • Strategize on and manage high-impact ad campaigns that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Continuously advise Junior Buyer on how to optimize campaign performance through A/B testing, audience segmentation, and data analysis.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new advertising opportunities and industry trends.
  • Monitor ad performance and adjust campaigns accordingly to improve conversion rates and ROI.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve ROI and achieve client goals.
  • Present and discuss performance reports and strategic recommendations to clients and internal teams.
  • Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.) to track key metrics and identify trends.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients regarding paid media strategy and execution.
  • Understand clients' business objectives, challenges, and industry trends to tailor strategies that meet their needs.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Work closely with creative, content, and design teams to develop compelling ad creatives and messaging.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and developers to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of campaign performance.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Oversee paid media budgets, ensuring optimal allocation and spend efficiency.
  • Provide recommendations for budget adjustments based on performance and business needs.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in paid media strategy and execution, with a focus on Direct to Consumer ecommerce brands.
  • Proven track record of managing and optimizing successful paid media campaigns across various digital platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop unique and effective ad campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Expert level proficiency in using paid media tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
