Job Summary:
The Digital Marketing Strategist (DMS) is a part of the Growth Team and reports to the Director of Marketing. The DMS at JMARK serves as the primary architect and analytical source of truth for the brand's digital growth, bridging the gap between high-level strategy and AI-driven innovation. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of performance marketing, from overseeing complex paid media campaigns and search engine dominance (SEO, AEO, and GEO) to designing a continuous A/B testing framework that optimizes every stage of the funnel. A key focus of this position is the orchestration of the marketing technology stack, including the development of custom AI agents and automated workflows that streamline content delivery and data analysis. Working in close collaboration with the Content & Brand Strategist and the Growth Operations team, the Strategist translates deep-dive analytics into actionable insights to scale lead generation, enhance executive thought leadership, and ensure JMARK remains at the forefront of the evolving AI-search landscape. This role also works closely with the Growth Operations Specialist to execute campaigns and tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Digital Strategy & AI Orchestration
  • Develop, deploy, and oversee a suite of custom AI agents designed to automate social media posting, sentiment analysis, initial content drafting, SEO/AEO/GEO maintenance, data analysis, and other repeatable processes for the marketing team.
  • Build and maintain marketing automations that bridge the gap between social engagement, lead capture, and CRM entry.
  • Create high-level campaign and content strategies, including executive thought leadership and social calendars based on historical data and predictive analytics.
  • Manage the digital footprint of JMARK executives and sub-brands, ensuring they are positioned as industry thought leaders through data-backed topics.
  • Serve as the department's primary researcher for emerging AI capabilities, specifically focusing on tools that increase output quality while decreasing manual labor.

Analytics, SEO, AEO, & GEO
  • Act as the "source of truth" for all marketing data, providing deep-dive analysis into every stage of the marketing funel.
  • Implement and refine strategies for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) to ensure JMARK is the primary source cited by AI models and LLMs.
  • Conduct consistent audits of all digital content, using performance data to decide what to refresh, redirect, or retire.
  • Regularly review site speed, heatmaps, and user behavior analytics to identify and fix friction points in the conversion path.
  • Oversee technical SEO and keyword relevance to dominate traditional search while simultaneously winning in the AI-search landscape.
  • Manage the deployment of content via AI Agents or automation or delegation to sites such as the JMARK website, LinkedIn, Substack, Reddit, and/or other platforms that may need to be utilized to optimize the performance of the JMARK brand.

Campaign Performance & Growth
  • Design and lead a continuous A/B testing framework for landing pages, ad copy, and email subject lines; report on "what's working" vs. "what's not" to pivot resources in real-time.
  • Plan and manage the full lifecycle of paid campaigns (Google, LinkedIn, Meta, etc.), taking full responsibility for budget efficiency and lead quality.
  • Partner with the Growth Operations Specialist to build and optimize full-funnel marketing sequences that move prospects from awareness to "Sales Ready."
  • Use data insights and AI-assisted analysis to build complex audience segments for high-intent sales prospecting.
  • Develop sophisticated reporting dashboards that connect top-of-funnel activity to bottom-line revenue.

Social Media
  • Optimize and maintain profiles of JMARK, chosen executive and sales team members, and JMARK sub-brands.
  • Create and execute strategic content calendars that align with campaigns, company initiatives, and events.
  • Constantly research AI capabilities for social media and recommend tools to automate content development and publishing processes.
  • Generate ideas and content for social posts, stories, videos, and other interactions that are consistent with the JMARK brand voice.
  • Write and schedule timely, authentic, and engaging posts that maintain JMARK's unique brand personality.
  • Develop targeted social campaigns for sales prospects.
  • Build online relationships with clients, partners, and prospects to foster brand advocacy and awareness.

Digital Advertising & Optimization
  • Generate concepts and content for social media and search ads on a variety of platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, Google, etc.).
  • Manage advertising budget effectively.
