Join a team that delivers high-visibility digital marketing activation at scale. You will lead end-to-end execution across multiple channels, improving speed, quality, and governance. You will partner closely across strategy, risk and control, technology, and agency teams to deliver outcomes that matter, and you will help modernize how work gets done by expanding automation and AI-enabled tooling.
Job Summary: 

As a Vice President, Digital Channel Activation (Marketing Delivery Lead) in Card Marketing Operations, you will lead teams responsible for digital channel activation and referral/email activation, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery with strong risk and control discipline. You will own prioritization, execution governance, and cross-functional alignment across a complex roadmap. You will drive measurable improvements in cycle time, quality, and productivity through process optimization and automation.  

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Lead and develop a team with 5-6 direct reports, setting clear objectives and supporting career growth.
  • Own end-to-end execution across digital marketing activation channels and referral/email activation, ensuring readiness from intake through launch.
  • Drive measurable quality improvements by strengthening submission accuracy, reducing rework, and improving controls and process documentation.
  • Establish operating rhythms for planning, prioritization, governance, and performance reporting across the channel roadmap.
  • Partner with marketing strategy, compliance, controls, technology, and agency teams to manage dependencies, risks, and delivery tradeoffs.
  • Implement process improvements that increase speed-to-market, scalability, and consistency across channels.
  • Expand automation and AI-enabled tools to reduce manual effort, improve validation/defect detection, and streamline reporting.
  • Strengthen capacity and resiliency by increasing cross-training and role clarity across channels.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly to senior stakeholders and drive timely escalation when needed. 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:  

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8 years of experience in marketing operations, campaign delivery, digital activation, or related roles in a regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, including leading managers and/or multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Proven experience driving process improvement, operational governance, and measurable delivery outcomes (quality and cycle time).
  • Experience partnering effectively with compliance, controls, and risk stakeholders to deliver work within governance expectations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams and manage delivery tradeoffs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready updates and escalation framing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate strategy into operational plans and measurable results.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: 

  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Experience leading digital marketing activation across multiple channels (for example, web, digital placements, and email).
  • Experience improving "first time right" submission quality and reducing operational defects through controls/process design.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools, workflow automation, or AI-enabled productivity tooling.
  • Experience managing agency delivery models and optimizing partner performance.
