Job description

Join a high-performing marketing team where your analytical expertise and storytelling ability will directly influence how we grow and serve small business customers across the country. At JPMorganChase, we invest in the tools, talent, and technology to help our teams move faster, think bigger, and make smarter decisions - and we're looking for someone ready to help lead that charge.

As a Senior Associate, Digital Marketing Performance within the Business Banking Acquisition Marketing team, you will own the performance measurement and reporting capabilities that power one of the firm's most productive customer growth engines - a team responsible for generating over 310,000 new accounts annually. You will translate complex, multi-source data into clear narratives and actionable recommendations that guide marketing leaders, product partners, and senior executives. This is a high-visibility role at the intersection of analytics, digital marketing, and strategic storytelling, offering meaningful opportunities to shape how the team measures success and builds for the future.

Our team is in an exciting period of transformation - rebuilding and reimagining our digital infrastructure and capabilities - and you will play a central role in defining how we measure progress, identify opportunities, and communicate results across the organization.

Job responsibilities

  • Own and manage weekly and monthly performance reporting across digital marketing experiences, including landing pages, paid media, email campaigns, and customer acquisition journeys spanning direct mail, social media, and banker-assisted channels
  • Monitor traffic trends, customer behavior patterns, funnel engagement, and account production metrics, translating findings into clear insights, risks, and opportunities for marketing and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Develop compelling performance narratives that explain what changed, why it changed, and what actions should be taken - tailored for marketing, product, technology, finance, and leadership audiences
  • Support monthly and quarterly business reviews by synthesizing performance trends, highlighting key metrics, identifying drivers of change, and preparing concise, executive-ready readouts
  • Partner with the test-and-learn agenda by defining success metrics, monitoring in-market results, and translating test outcomes into clear optimization recommendations
  • Identify reporting gaps, refine key performance indicator definitions, and develop more scalable and repeatable approaches to recurring analysis to strengthen the team's measurement capabilities
  • Collaborate across marketing, analytics, product, finance, technology, and digital experience teams to ensure data integrity, alignment on metrics, and consistent performance storytelling
  • Explore and apply emerging artificial intelligence capabilities to accelerate insight generation, improve reporting efficiency, and enhance the quality of marketing measurement and business intelligence

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on Digital Performance & Insights concepts and 5+ years applied experience in digital marketing, marketing analytics, business analysis, performance management, or a related field
  • Demonstrated success building recurring performance reporting and key performance indicator monitoring programs from the ground up
  • Hands-on experience with digital analytics, reporting, and data visualization platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or comparable tools
  • Proven ability to synthesize multiple data sources into concise, business-oriented narratives for non-technical stakeholders and senior audiences
  • Strong attention to detail with a track record of validating data, identifying anomalies, and maintaining accuracy and consistency in recurring reporting
  • Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams including marketing, analytics, product, finance, technology, and digital experience partners
  • Comfort operating in a matrixed organization, managing competing priorities, and influencing partners without direct authority
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging artificial intelligence capabilities and their application to marketing measurement, customer behavior analysis, and executive reporting
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including comfort working with large datasets, structured reporting templates, and repeatable analytical processes
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing and acquisition metrics, including conversion rate, cost efficiency, account production, and funnel drop-off analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce polished reporting updates, executive summaries, and performance readouts
  • Demonstrated ability to combine traditional analytics with artificial intelligence-powered capabilities to support faster and more effective decision-making
  • Familiarity with test design, A/B testing, measurement frameworks, and translating test results into actionable optimization recommendations
  • Experience in financial services, small business, business-to-business, or other regulated industry environments; Master's degree is a plus
