The Role

We are seeking a strategic, transformational leader to own and evolve Lumen's Marketing Operations platform ecosystem, content supply chain, and digital asset management capabilities. This leader will define the strategy, governance, and operating model for Adobe Workfront, Workfront Fusion, AEM Assets, and Content Operations, ensuring seamless execution across Marketing, Creative, Product Marketing, Legal, Brand, and Digital Experience teams.

Responsible for platform strategy, process excellence, organizational enablement, and business transformation, this role will drive scalable ways of working that improve productivity, content velocity, operational transparency, and speed-to-market. As a champion of AI-first operations and intelligent automation, this leader will modernize enterprise workflows, accelerate organizational scalability, and help shape the future of Marketing Operations through continuous innovation and operational excellence.

The Main Responsibilities
  • Own the enterprise strategy, governance, and operating model for Marketing Operations platforms, including Workfront, Workfront Fusion, AEM Assets, and related workflow technologies.
  • Develop and execute multi-year roadmaps focused on platform optimization, content supply chain maturity, intelligent automation, and AI-enabled operational transformation.
  • Establish cross-functional governance frameworks, prioritization processes, and decision-making structures that align investments with business objectives.
  • Lead the evolution of content lifecycle processes from intake and planning through creation, review, approval, publication, reuse, and performance measurement.
  • Provide strategic leadership for digital asset management capabilities, including asset governance, taxonomy, metadata, discoverability, compliance, and content reuse strategies.
  • Drive AI adoption, workflow automation, and intelligent process design initiatives that improve speed-to-market, quality, transparency, and organizational scalability.
  • Lead platform portfolio strategy, vendor management, capability evaluations, business case development, and ecosystem integration initiatives across enterprise technologies.
  • Build, coach, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
What We Look For in a Candidate
  • 10+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Content Operations, Creative Operations, Work Management, Digital Asset Management, or related operational leadership functions.
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams responsible for platforms, governance, process management, operations, or business transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and leading enterprise operating models, governance frameworks, and large-scale transformation programs.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives across Marketing, Creative, Content, Product Marketing, Legal, Technology, and Digital organizations.
  • Experience managing enterprise platforms such as Adobe Workfront, Workfront Fusion, AEM Assets, Jira, Salesforce, Microsoft technologies, or similar ecosystems.
  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, organizational influence, and strategic leadership capabilities.
  • Experience leading organizational change initiatives focused on automation, productivity improvement, and operational modernization.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams in complex enterprise environments.

Preferred

  • Adobe Workfront Core Administrator and/or Workfront Fusion certifications.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud, AEM Assets, and Content Supply Chain solutions.
  • Experience developing platform investment strategies, business cases, and enterprise technology roadmaps.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled workflow automation, intelligent content operations, and digital workplace solutions.
  • Experience leading enterprise-scale adoption, change management, and business transformation programs.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience leveraging analytics and operational intelligence to drive business performance and optimization outcomes.
  • Background leading modernization initiatives that support scalable, AI-first ways of working.
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
