Job description

What We're Looking For 

The Digital Marketing Specialist leads digital management and quality across all web properties and digital marketing for the Hankamer School of Business (HSB). They serves as the School's subject matter expert in digital marketing, digital analytics, web management, email campaigns, and user experience. Additionally, the role ensures digital brand compliance alignment and counsels the Director of Marketing and Communications on recommended digital changes. 

A bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience are required. Five years of relevant experience is preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of one another. Higher education or non-profit experience preferred.

Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis. 

What You Will Do 

Website Updates

  • Through proficiency in Drupal, fulfills approximately 100 monthly website change requests, streamlining workflows previously distributed among 40 department representatives to increase efficiency, consistency and governance. Ensures HSB website content is up to date and brand compliant

Email Marketing

  • Owns the HSB email account (BaylorBusiness@baylor.edu) and leads mass email (EMMA) strategy and deployment, including departmental annual reports, donor emails, Dean's communications and newsletters. Audiences include alumni, faculty/staff, students, administration, donors, advisory board members, parents of current and prospective students, and AACSB deans.

Analytics

  • Periodically providing digital analytics data from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Adwords' keyword planning tool, or other related platforms to inform and educate digital marketing efforts, primarily for HSB Graduate Programs. Manages and analyzes the Baylor Business Readership survey in Qualtrics, translating results into actionable insights that inform content strategy and audience engagement efforts. 

Website Management

  • Manages and maintains two WordPress websites for adjacent digital properties: the Baylor Business Review website, and the Baylor Angel Network (BAN) external-facing website.

Other

  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission 
  • Ability to comply with University policies 
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
