Job Overview:

Pay Range: $49.00hr - $71.43hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Experience and expertise in the effective use of paid and owned social media, podcast sponsorship, digital display, and email (eblasts and newsletters) advertising.
  • Experience and expertise in paid search, search engine optimization and web analytics.
  • Intermediate or better proficiency in typical Microsoft Office products.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and Photoshop as well as web analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, create, execute, monitor and analyze the effectiveness of digital marketing and advertising campaigns.
  • Work with communicators, marketers or program managers to identify marketing goals, audiences and messaging.
  • Research available markets and channels and recommend the best ones for the initiative.
  • Develop digital marketing plans and relevant, compelling creative deliverables in conjunction with managers, agencies, and third party designers.
  • Produce digital marketing copy and content as needed.
  • Ensure deliverables are consistent with the brand and quality standards as well as the global reputation for excellence.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis (trends, key metrics, and results) for digital campaigns to the client.
  • Educate and consult with team members on advertising efforts, digital marketing product capabilities and digital media trends.
  • Liaise with and represent the organization’s interests, needs and requirements with publishers, advertising agencies, suppliers and creative resources.
  • Conduct periodic audits of invoices, budgets, and media plans to optimize media investment.
  • Strengthen how the Office of the CIO (OCIO) communicates, engages, and connects with the IT organization and campus community.
  • Increase awareness and adoption of IT capabilities through marketing campaigns, storytelling, and events.
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across IT.
  • Develop and support new communication channels and organize engagement activities such as technology showcases and staff events.
  • Coordinate small- to medium-sized initiatives by supporting project planning, stakeholder communications, meeting coordination, and progress tracking.
  • Establish repeatable engagement practices, communication assets, and event processes.
