We are seeking a Sr. Manager, Digital Experience to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based in our Waltham, MA office.

Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Digital Experience owns the company's public web presence as a strategic growth engine. This leader will be responsible for defining and executing the website roadmap, optimizing the digital customer journey, driving organic growth through SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), improving conversion performance, and managing the technologies that power a best-in-class digital experience. The Senior Manager partners closely with Revenue Marketing, Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Brand, Marketing Operations, IT, and external agencies to ensure the website accelerates pipeline growth and delivers exceptional customer experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, and roadmap for the corporate website, ensuring priorities align with business goals and customer needs.
  • Lead the ongoing evolution of the website as a high performing digital channel, customer engagement platform.
  • Improve the overall digital experience by enhancing navigation, information architecture, usability, accessibility, and customer journeys.
  • Develop and execute SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and AI search strategies to increase visibility and engagement across both traditional and AI-powered search platforms.
  • Lead the website conversion optimization program by using A/B testing, experimentation, personalization, and customer insights to improve engagement and conversion rates.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging AI capabilities, digital technologies, and website innovations that improve customer experience and support marketing objectives.
  • Own website analytics, performance metrics, and executive reporting, providing data-driven insights and recommendations using GA4, Ahrefs, and other digital analytics tools.
  • Manage relationships with external web development agencies and technology partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Partner with IT and external vendors to ensure the website remains secure, reliable, high-performing, and well-governed.
  • Lead and develop the website team by providing coaching, setting priorities, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Revenue Marketing, Product Marketing, Brand, and Content Marketing to deliver digital initiatives that support business goals.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, AI advancements, and digital best practices, bringing forward new ideas and recommendations that strengthen the company's digital presence.
  • Other duties as assigned and required

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, Communications, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience developing website strategy and digital customer experiences that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), conversion rate optimization, website analytics, and personalization strategies.
  • Experience with enterprise content management systems such as Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, or HubSpot CMS.
  • Experience using Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Ahrefs, SEMRush, and related analytics platforms.
  • Experience managing external agencies, vendors, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and lead strategic initiatives across multiple business functions.
  • Experience leading or mentoring team members preferred.

This position offers a total compensation range of $213,900.00 to $225,400.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata’s benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata’s compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
