Part adventure, part history lesson, and part treasure hunt, 24-time Emmy Award-nominated ANTIQUES ROADSHOW continues to be PBS's most-watched ongoing series. On TV and online, ANTIQUES ROADSHOW works as a closely integrated team to bring one of America's favorite shows to a wide audience across multiple platforms.

JOB OVERVIEW

Reporting to ANTIQUES ROADSHOW's Director of Digital Content and in collaboration with internal colleagues, the Digital Associate Producer/Editor will create smart, informative, entertaining, and engaging short-form video and multimedia content for ANTIQUES ROADSHOW's digital and social platforms.

This role manages the post-production and publishing workflow for the series' streaming video content and works closely with the Director of Digital Content, Audience Engagement Manager, and other series producers to coordinate the production and publishing workflow for the series website. This position includes periodic travel with other series staff during ANTIQUES ROADSHOW's annual production tour.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Digital Content Production & Editing: In collaboration with ROADSHOW's Audience Engagement Manager, research, develop, and edit engaging short-form video and multimedia content from broadcast archives and field shoots, adapting stories specifically for platform-native audiences (TikTok, Reels, Shorts, YouTube, and PBS App).
  • Broadcast Tour & Field Support: Under the direction of the Director of Digital Content, coordinate and assist in pre-production research and planning, editorial support and field production during ANTIQUES ROADSHOW's yearly series production tour.
  • Post-Production & Asset Management: Manage the digital video workflow from ingest to final publish - including audio/color finishing, metadata tagging, asset archiving, and ensuring strict web accessibility and caption compliance.
  • Publishing & Site Coordination: Coordinate, schedule, and publish video assets, image galleries, and editorial content across the series website and digital distribution platforms.

SKILL SET

  • Technical Proficiency: Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects). Experience with Avid Media Composer and Adobe Audition are also a plus.
  • Platform & Trend Expertise: Proven savvy in platform-native digital storytelling techniques, including strong hook construction, pacing, graphics integration, and platform-specific formatting (9:16 vertical vs. 16:9 horizontal).
  • Publishing Tools: Familiarity with video publishing workflows, CMS platforms, and YouTube Studio/social media backend tools.
  • Editorial Judgment: Strong visual eye, solid story-editing instincts, high attention to detail, and sound editorial judgment when working with historical context and archival materials.
  • Organization & Communication: Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple overlapping deadlines in a collaborative environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required. 2-4 years of professional experience in digital video editing, post-production, or digital content production (public media, heritage, or brand storytelling experience is a plus).
