Who we are looking for

A Digital Asset Operations Senior Associate for State Street's Global Delivery Digital Asset Operations team who has an understanding of ideally both traditional and digital assets operations coupled with large institutional experience. The Digital Asset Operations team is responsible for assisting in the design and ultimate execution of the operational model for State Street's sub-custody and self-custody within Global Delivery as part of delivering the enterprise strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate seeking new opportunities to further develop your existing talents and skills to build the future digital infrastructure of financial markets from the ground up.

You will report directly to the Assistant Vice President of Digital Asset Operations and collaborate with our dedicated Digital teams in Product Development, IT, Business, Governance & Controls, Risk and Compliance plus our State Street Global Delivery teams to effectively service our Institutional client base. In addition, you will have significant opportunities to collaborate with State Street Digital's external partners and vendors, from early in the product development cycle right through to testing and implementation within operations.

This unique role requires interest and some working knowledge of traditional investment services business operations - in one of the following areas such as custody, payments, trading, securities servicing, client onboarding, compliance and process documentation - as well as a curiosity for next generation technologies, including distributed ledger technology - DLT, Blockchain, digital custody, cryptocurrencies, digital wallet technology, tokenization and Artificial Intelligence - AI.

What you will be responsible for

As a Digital Asset Operations Senior Associate, you will

  • Identify control process improvements relevant to the role by challenging the design and implementation of related self-custody processes,procedures and other documentation required for smooth operations
  • Execute our Digital in-scope functions in this new cross-functional Digital team employing a risk and controls mindset
  • You will be responsible for understanding and executing operational procedures specific to Digital Asset Operations
  • Build functional and technical knowledge across traditional and digital custody and sub-custody
  • Ensure KPIs are achieved and deliver seamless day-to-day delivery of services with periodic reviews
  • Provide regular communication and reporting updates to ensure full transparency and clarity of workstream deliveryto digital asset operations leadership teams

  • Hands-on experience with digital assets and wallets, distributed ledger technology, tokenization is preferred

Salary Range:

$52,000 - $84,760 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
