Job description

Digital Media Manager

We’re looking for an energetic Digital Media Manager to join the College’s marketing team. This role will oversee our digital storytelling and media assets, from filming and video editing to social media strategy and posting. This role is ideal for a creative, self-motivated storyteller who thrives on turning raw footage and ideas into compelling content that engages our audience.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, film, and edit video content for social media, web, and other digital platforms

• Manage day-to-day social media presence, including content calendars, posting, and community engagement

• Collaborate with staff, faculty and students to identify and capture stories worth telling

• Maintain consistent brand voice and visual style across all digital channels

• Track and report on content performance, adjusting strategy based on analytics

• Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and video production techniques

• Follow conversation on the college’s social media channels and interact with the public

• Monitor social media channels across institutional departments and organizations to ensure those using the College’s social tools are following established guidelines and best practices.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Film Production or a related field preferred

• 3–5 years of experience in social media management and video editing

• Experience in a higher education setting a plus

• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro as well as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom

• Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook etc.) and best practices for each

• A proactive, energetic approach to work, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
