Job description

Position:
 Adult English Instructor (ESL) - Family Literacy at Little Eagles preschool Lower Campus in Eden Prairie
Effective Date:
August 24, 2026
Hours:
 13.5 hours per week  ( includes non-instructional time)
 Class time 9:45 am - 12:15 pm
  4 days per week: Monday - Thursday
 149 days per year
Pay:
See Teacher Contract on Bloomington Public Schools website (Schedule D)
Required Licensure:
Current MN Teaching License: K-12 ESL
Required Experience:
Knowledge of SID, CCR standards, ACES/TIF standards and Northstar Digital Literacy standards. Experience working with a team and experience working with adults from diverse backgrounds.
Experience teaching in a Family Literacy program is a plus.
Responsibilities:





















  • Teaching English to adult students from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Ongoing lesson planning, testing, and working with a team.
  • Utilizing volunteers.
