Full-Time | Exempt Position
Job Summary
Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) is seeking a collaborative and results-driven Fundraising Direct Response Manager. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in advancing RIF's donor growth and revenue strategies. This position focuses on implementing innovative, omnichannel fundraising campaigns across both digital and traditional platforms-including paid advertising, social media, SMS, and direct mail.

What You'll Do
  • Plan and execute robust, creative, and conversion-driven omnichannel fundraising campaigns.
  • Lead strategy, execution, and optimization of digital fundraising and direct mail efforts to acquire new donors, re-engage lapsed supporters, and retain existing donors.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to align fundraising strategies and messaging with broader organizational goals.
  • Use data and analytics to evaluate campaign performance, track donor behavior, and inform future strategies to improve response rates and ROI.
  • Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations, data privacy laws, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of campaigns on RIF.org, ensuring alignment with fundraising and organizational goals.
  • Create targeted email, social media, advertising, and SMS campaigns to engage donors throughout the giving cycle.

What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, nonprofit management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising or digital marketing, with at least 2 years leading successful digital fundraising initiatives.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser's Edge), online fundraising platforms (e.g., Classy, Engaging Networks), and analytics/marketing tools (e.g., email automation, Google Analytics, Tag Manager).
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and conversion-optimized campaign development.
  • Excellent project management skills, including experience coordinating vendors and managing timelines and budgets.
  • Strong communication and analytical abilities with a data-driven, audience-focused approach.
