About this job

As a Digital Solutions Analyst at iCrossing, you will be part of an integrated cross functional team driving client outcomes.  Our digital solutions will pragmatically utilize iX strengths in all our competencies from strategy to technical delivery and everything in between.  This role will play a key role in clarifying the client needs and alignment.  You will also be embedded with Agile delivery teams to document, guide, and communicate the overall solution. This is a full-time temporary-to-hire role and will require two days in the office.

What you'll do:

  • Define and document digital transformation journeys including mapping to pragmatic executable, technical requirements
  • Conduct all aspects of the requirements process to support complex digital projects being defined, designed, and developed on behalf of our clients using Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Create requirements and related artifacts for digital projects, including User Stories, Use Cases, Process and Data Flow diagrams.
  • Work with digital, integration, and data technologies to design and implement new customer experience strategies and innovative solutions
  • Create detailed functional specifications that document the agreed interface behavior for all types of users of the system and as well as any back-end business rules or data requirements
  • Support the technology team by reviewing requirements and specifications as well as responding to requests for clarification and deeper analysis
  • Partner with the QA team by reviewing and providing feedback on test cases, logging and prioritizing defects as well as keeping requirements documentation up to date with any changes
  • Find and amplify the voices of the customer, employee, and partner to guide innovative, pragmatic digital solutions
  • Be a key contributor in digital technology and strategy engagements - build the client relationship, map key technical inputs, project delivery, and overall program success.
  • Can identify risks and issues and report them to the project lead for awareness and resolution.
  • Become the functional owner and the go to person for any questions about the functionality.

Who you are:

  • 3+ years' experience in a technical consulting client facing role or similar
  • Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and with the ability to interact with different levels of end users, business leaders, and technical resources
  • Experience writing detailed functional and technical specifications based on high level user stories
  • Demonstrated awareness of change management and influence mapping to support digital initiatives
  • Well-versed in Agile methodology and data-driven decision making
  • Experience with digital tools, such as web content management, marketing automation, email tooling or web analytics
  • Eager to learn, creative, and entrepreneurial
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team

The estimated hourly range for this position in Chicago is between $44 and $53. For New York City,the estimated hourly range for this position is between $49 and $59. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences.The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
