Job Summary:
Utilizing significant technical experience and expertise, the Technical Lead supports an application or infrastructure team with planning, system analysis, design, application build, testing, maintenance, support and the completion of assigned project work. This role is critical to solution development and technical strategy design with a focus on necessary product evolution. Applying knowledge of healthcare workflows and understanding of the needs of customers within their domain and incorporating this to inform recommendations for solutions and service implementation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Foster and maintain high-impact relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support interoperability and digital transformation.
  • Lead and support strategic initiatives designed to enhance digital health capabilities and healthcare connectivity.
  • Align program development and execution with defined performance metrics and organizational outcomes.
  • Anticipate and respond to the rapidly evolving digital needs of the healthcare ecosystem, ensuring solutions remain innovative, scalable, and patient-focused.
  • Serve as a liaison between clinical, operational, and technical teams to promote seamless integration of Epic tools within broader strategic frameworks.
  • Work closely with Patient Experience teams to ensure digital solutions enhance patient satisfaction and engagement.
  • Understand and support appropriate governance structures to maintain alignment with organizational policies and strategic objectives.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
Eight (8) or more years of experience in IT (Function Specific: Clinical, Cybersecurity, Network, etc.) required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience in Epic Interoperability and Digital Health, with a strong understanding of clinical workflows and system integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively at executive levels.
  • Skilled in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and outcome-driven leadership.
  • Deep understanding of digital trends in healthcare and the ability to translate them into actionable, scalable solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Epic systems and interoperability tools.
  • Experience implementing and supporting governance frameworks for health IT initiatives

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
Master's Degree preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:
Expert knowledge of technology specific to their position as well as industry standards and trends.
Flexible leadership style with the ability to respond to the changing and varied needs of customers
Ability to establish positive relationships with teams, peers, and customers.
Ability to foster a positive and inclusive work environment, effectively negotiate and manage competing priorities, communicate effectively with all organizational levels.
Strategy, Process Improvement, Application Design, Project Mgmt., Solution Design and Technical Domain Expertise.
LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:
Two (2) or more EPIC Certifications required as approved by department leadership.

Pay is expected to be between: (expressed as hourly) $37.95 - $64.92. Final compensation is based on experience and will be discussed with you by the recruiter during the interview process.
