Stellar Solutions is seeking a Digital Engineer to support the SN SE&I program through the creation, integration, and application of interdisciplinary digital models across the product lifecycle. This role contributes to mission-focused systems engineering and integration efforts by enabling stronger technical baselines, model-informed decision-making, and disciplined engineering execution. The position is suited for an engineer who can work across digital engineering tools, requirements, and technical collaboration in support of complex government systems.

Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications

This role supports digital engineering implementation across systems engineering products, model-based development, and technical reviews. The Digital Engineer will help translate requirements into coherent engineering artifacts and support collaborative execution across government and partner teams.

Key responsibilities include:

    Create, integrate, and apply interdisciplinary digital models from concept through the product lifecycle
  • Develop systems engineering products in support of DoD or government systems
  • Produce technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture artifacts using MBSE practices
  • Use digital engineering tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw, SparxEA, DOORS, or IBM Rhapsody to support program needs
  • Perform systems engineering analysis to inform technical planning, design, and integration
  • Support design reviews and requirements verification activities
  • Collaborate with government clients, FFRDCs, and partner teams to achieve program goals
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex technical problems with limited direction
  • Contribute to engineering rigor across model development, technical baselines, and lifecycle execution
  • Mentor team members and support strong multidisciplinary coordination where needed

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with large-scale missions and systems engineering and integration
  • 3+ years of experience performing systems engineering analysis and developing systems engineering products for DoD or government systems
  • 3+ years of experience with practical MBSE for development of technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture
  • Experience using digital engineering tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw, SparxEA, DOORS, or IBM Rhapsody
  • Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews and requirements verification
  • Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, FFRDCs, and partner teammates to achieve program goals
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with model-based verification and validation
  • Experience with MATLAB, STK, ModelCenter, or TeamCenter
  • Experience analyzing and translating system requirements into design
  • Knowledge of Systems Modeling Language and DoD Architecture Framework
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical risks and issues, develop technical reports, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement recommended solutions
  • Master's degree in Engineering
  • OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional Certification
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering certification

Clearance & Additional Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance
  • Active TS/SCI clearance is desired
  • All positions require at least 2-3 days per week on site; meetings and schedules may require additional on-site support

Compensation:

The typical annual salary range for this position is approximately, USD $115,000 - $143,000. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, profit sharing / retirement plan and other benefits (all in addition to annual base salary).

Deliverable(s)

Deliverables could be in the format of a report, software file, briefing, spreadsheet, or other document as directed by the Government, using government approved and/or mandated systems/software and processes governed by guidance/instructions/policy or direction. The nature of this work will, at times, require quick responses to stringent deadlines and always in a high quality, professional manner.
