Contract Details
  • Job Title: Logistics Manager
  • Type of Contract: Long-term At-will
  • Expected Hiring Date: July 2026

Responsibilities
  • Lead production scheduling to ensure 100% on-time delivery in a JIT/JIS environment while optimizing costs.
  • Review daily and weekly material requirements and align inventory levels with KPIs.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and purchasing to resolve supply chain issues and ensure continuity.
  • Supervise and support the logistics team across all shifts to maintain consistent operations.
  • Manage inbound/outbound shipments, warehouse activities, and warranty return processes.
  • Support PPAP and PSO activities to ensure successful product launches and process validation.
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Promote a safe work environment, enforce PPE usage, and act on safety or quality concerns, including stopping production if needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain 5S standards within the logistics and warehouse areas.
  • Ensure effective use of systems and maintain communication with logistics partners and key stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Materials or Supply Chain role.
  • Experience in a Just-In-Time (JIT) and Just-In-Sequence (JIS) manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and problem-solving techniques.
  • APICS certification or training preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or other MRP systems.
  • Familiarity with IATF 16949, CSR (Customer Specific Requirements), and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Experience with DCX material flow and Covisint systems is an asset.
  • Tier 1 automotive supplier experience is strongly preferred.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • English proficiency required (bilingual skills are a plus).
