Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in business development including overseeing sales and marketing activities, driving brand awareness, market penetration, and customer engagement for our injection stretch blow molding machines and molds, customer satisfaction and fulfillment to achieve the company defined order/sales goals and corporate objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Sales
  • Meet with clients and prospects, to maintain and/or develop relationships, negotiate and book orders.
  • Support colleagues, agents, distributors, and clients regarding the products and services.
  • Support Sales Manager through daily planning and reporting.
  • Provide input and direction for creation and implementation of strategic sales plans to achieve corporate goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition/market.
  • Assist in collating and reviewing market data to identify and forecast customer needs. Analyze sales statistics to assist in establishment of policy and assist all levels/roles in promoting sales.
  • Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.
  • Coordinate with Sales Coordination, manufacturing facilities, HQ and other sales related unit to progress projects efficiently.
  • Prepare periodic sales report detailing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion providing input and direction for product research and development consideration.
Marketing
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the products and services in line with company objectives.
  • Brand Management: Ensure brand consistency and maintain the company's reputation as an industry leader.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and potential threats.
  • Product Promotion: Create and oversee the marketing campaigns for the company's injection stretch blow molding machines and molds, including digital and offline initiatives.
  • Content Creation: Develop and manage content for various marketing channels, such as website, social media, newsletters, and marketing collateral.
  • Lead Generation: Drive lead generation efforts, collaborate with the sales team, and ensure a steady flow of qualified leads.
  • Trade Shows and Events: Plan and coordinate participation in industry trade shows and events to showcase company's products.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers and create strategies for customer retention.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 5 years of experience in marketing management, preferably in industrial machinery or manufacturing.

Strong understanding of injection stretch blow molding machinery and molds is a plus.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.

Exceptional communication and leadership skills.

Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics, and CRM systems.

Ability to travel occasionally for trade shows and events.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability
