Position Summary:
The Digital Marketing Specialist supports the execution, administration, and continuous improvement of Graton Resort & Casino's digital guest experience platforms and marketing technology initiatives. This position works closely with the Digital Guest Experience Manager, IT, Rewards, Database Marketing, external vendors, and internal stakeholders to coordinate digital projects, manage website and application content, execute digital communications, and maintain guest-facing digital experiences.
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for content management, project coordination, quality assurance, campaign deployment, and reporting across digital channels including website, mobile applications, email, SMS, push notifications, and other guest engagement platforms. This role serves as a key operational resource, helping ensure digital experiences are accurate, engaging, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
As an exempt position, this role requires flexibility to support business-critical digital initiatives, technology implementations, promotions, and guest communications that may occasionally occur during evenings, weekends, or holidays.
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
2. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Graton Resort & Casino standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Maintain and update guest-facing digital content across Graton Resort & Casino's website, mobile applications, player portals, and other digital experience platforms.
4. Ensure all digital content, communications, promotions, and guest-facing information are accurate, current, compliant, and aligned with Graton Resort & Casino branding standards.
5. Build, schedule, test, and deploy digital communications including:
a. Email campaigns
b. SMS communications
c. Push notifications
d. In-app messaging
6. Coordinate messaging assets, approvals, audience requirements, creative deliverables, and deployment schedules with Marketing, Rewards, Database Marketing, Operations, and external vendors.
7. Perform quality assurance reviews for digital content, website updates, mobile app content, messaging campaigns, promotions, and technology enhancements to ensure accuracy and proper functionality.
8. Monitor email, SMS, push notification, and in-app messaging performance and assist with ongoing reporting, analysis, and optimization efforts.
9. Coordinate digital projects, platform enhancements, and technology initiatives by managing timelines, deliverables, testing requirements, stakeholder communications, and launch activities.
10. Support website, mobile application, and digital platform administration utilizing content management systems, including WordPress and other digital publishing tools.
11. Work proactively with the Digital Guest Experience Manager, IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to support the implementation and continuous improvement of digital guest experience initiatives.
12. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), launch readiness activities, platform validation, issue tracking, and post-launch support for digital projects and technology enhancements.
13. Maintain project documentation, meeting notes, implementation plans, digital inventories, deployment schedules, and operational process documentation.
14. Develop strong relationships with internal and external teams to drive collaboration, ensure successful project execution, and support ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
15. Support digital campaign launches, technology implementations, platform updates, and guest-facing initiatives that may occur during evenings, weekends, holidays, or other non-standard business hours as business needs require.

Required Qualifications:
1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.

3. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance across digital content, communications, and technology implementations.
4. Experience building, scheduling, testing, or deploying digital communications including email, SMS, push notifications, or similar customer engagement programs.
5. Experience coordinating cross-functional projects involving multiple departments, vendors, and business stakeholders.
6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities with the capability to identify issues and recommend solutions.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related business software.
8. Ability to understand technical concepts and effectively translate business requirements into actionable tasks and project deliverables.
9. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and prioritize work with minimal supervision.
10. Ability to maintain a flexible schedule and work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as business needs require.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Media, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting website administration, digital marketing operations, project coordination, marketing technology initiatives, or related digital platforms.
3. Experience managing website content through Content Management Systems (CMS), preferably WordPress.
4. Experience working with mobile applications, customer loyalty platforms, CRM systems, marketing automation tools, or guest engagement technologies.
5. Experience participating in website launches, mobile app projects, digital transformations, or technology implementation initiatives.
6. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, APIs, or other web-related technologies.
7. Experience with digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar reporting tools.
8. Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and digital customer journey optimization.
9. Gaming, hospitality, entertainment, or loyalty marketing experience preferred.
