You’ll also play a key role in tracking performance, analyzing trends, and translating insights into actionable recommendations alongside the team to inform our strategy. Reporting to the Social Media & Content Manager, you’ll work closely with the broader Social, Brand, and Marketing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • In partnership with the Social Media & Content Manager, maintain a structured and up-to-date content calendar, helping source and select elevated UGC, creating, and captioning engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Participate in end-to-end content capture, including filming and photographing social-first content on-site at shoots, events, and design locations.
  • Edit and deliver platform-native content (Reels, TikTok, Stories) using Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand standards, including composition, styling, and visual consistency.
  • A keen attention to detail across content, grammar, and overall quality.

  • Manage the partnerships inbox, ensuring timely responses, clear communication, and proper tracking of all inbound opportunities.
  • Execute gifting workflows end-to-end, including product selection, order placement (ShopMy or similar platforms), and follow-up.
  • Maintain detailed trackers for all creator partnerships, ensuring deliverables, timelines, and approvals are clearly documented and met.
  • In partnership with the Social Media & Content Manager, assist in evaluating creators and partners for brand alignment, content quality, and audience fit.
  • Proactively flag risks, delays, or gaps in partnership execution.

Performance & Reporting:

  • Track and report on social and partnership performance on a regular cadence.
  • Analyze content performance, identifying trends, patterns, and actionable opportunities for optimization.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting data and metrics.

Community Management:

  • Monitor and respond to direct messages, comments, and mentions across all social media channels in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage collaborations and social inboxes.
  • Foster and grow communities across all platforms, including Facebook Groups.
  • Flag important conversations, opportunities, or issues to the team proactively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You have 1–3 years of relevant work experience and a strong understanding of social media, with an emphasis on IG, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Substack, etc.
  • You are passionate about social media, home design, and building the Serena & Lily brand, with a keen eye for design and details.
  • You are a capable writer and meticulous proofreader with strong interpersonal skills.
  • You are highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, maintain trackers and systems, and ensure strong follow-through.
  • Experience capturing and editing social-first content.
  • Proficiency in video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro. Familiarity with AI-assisted editing tools is a plus.
  • A social presence or portfolio is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sprout Social, and ShopMy is preferred.
  • You are comfortable tracking performance, identifying trends, and applying insights to inform content decisions.
  • You are self-motivated, performance-driven, and able to work in both strategic and hands-on capacities.
  • You can move or handle furniture and filming equipment (0–50 pounds) and operate necessary equipment, including ladders.
  • You do not require employer sponsorship.

POSITION DETAILS:

  • You may need to travel alone or with a group, and you may need to work extended hours or on weekends.
  • You are based in the Bay Area and able to work from our Sausalito office or on location as needed.

COMPENSATION:
