The Digital Content Producer role combines creativity, strategy, and digital storytelling to build meaningful connections with audiences across social platforms. Your primary mission is to create compelling content to drive engagement with our community, increase awareness of the lottery’s products and mission, and strengthen our brand across the state.

**This is a hybrid position. All employees must reside in NC**


Responsibilities:

  • Produces creative content, including copy, images, and video for social media and digital channels.
  • Creates paid social campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, and other social platforms.
  • Assists in social media content calendar planning, copywriting, and posting. Makes content. recommendations for the calendar, including emerging trends and content types for each channel.
  • Collaborates with NCEL teams to ensure cross-platform success of winner awareness, beneficiary awareness, internal communications, events, and responsible gaming initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Comprehensive experience and detailed working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud programs and other digital design programs to create creative content, including animation, illustrations, photo editing, and video. (Particular expertise in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere and related plug-ins preferred)
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms including: Facebook, X (Formerly Twitter), YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
  • Knowledge of social media and digital advertising management software and specifications.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of social media listening and analytics platforms such as Meltwater, Sprinklr, Hootsuite etc.
  • Knowledge of audio/video production and photography.
  • Ability to handle disgruntled or frustrated players when moderating blog comments or engaging on social channels.


Hiring Rate: $56,186 (this exempt position will be filled at or near the posted salary)
